useAgent is an open-source AI coworker that gives Claude Code, Codex, OpenCode, and Pi a shared workspace with isolated Linux computers, repositories, terminals, browsers, and team tools. It can handle research, websites, spreadsheets, reports, presentations, and code changes, returning usable files, artifacts, or pull requests through a web app, Slack, REST API, or scheduled tasks. Each run is stored as an event log in Postgres and uses a common event contract across supported agent engines. Daytona or CubeSandbox provides the isolated workstation, while integrations cross a trusted gateway as typed tools so credentials remain on the control plane rather than entering the sandbox. The workspace also supports versioned skills and playbooks, team knowledge and memory, approval-gated tools, revisioned workpieces, and durable sessions. Agent Skills is an open-source collection of engineering workflows for AI coding agents, developed by Addy Osmani. It packages senior-engineering practices into skills covering the development lifecycle: defining specifications, planning, incremental implementation, testing and debugging, constraints, code review, web-performance auditing, code simplification, and shipping. Slash commands such as /spec, /plan, /build, /test, /review, and /ship activate the corresponding workflows, while skills can also activate automatically based on the work being performed. The /build workflow can generate a plan and implement its tasks in an approved pass, while retaining test-driven verification, individual commits, and pauses for failures or risky steps. It can be installed with the skills CLI or integrated into supported coding agents including Claude Code, Cursor, Codex, Copilot, and Cline.

CowAgent is an open-source AI assistant and agent harness developed by LinkAI. It plans complex tasks step by step, runs tools and skills, controls computers and external services, maintains long-term memory and a personal knowledge base, and supports multi-agent teams with separate roles, models, skills, knowledge, and workspaces. Its architecture routes messages from web and messaging channels through an agent core that reasons over available models, tools, skills, memory, and knowledge before returning a response. Memory uses a three-tier structure of conversation context, daily memory, and long-term MEMORY.md, with a nightly Deep Dream process that distills memories; the knowledge base is an automatically curated Markdown wiki with cross-references and a browsable knowledge graph. It can run locally, in Docker, on a server, or through its macOS and Windows desktop client, with a web console for configuration and a command-line interface for service and skill management.
