An open-source AI agent skill for Claude Code, Codex, and similar coding agents that produces cinematic product, marketing, launch, and demo videos with Remotion. It provides shot recipe cards, motion previews, a reusable video template, and workflows for storyboarding, real page capture, animation, 2.5D camera moves, sound design, beat-synced cuts, and visual checks. The repository includes native Remotion components driven by normalized progress values, a gallery for browsing motion previews, and an optional JianYing project export that separates shot plates, captions, sound effects, and background music into editable tracks. It can be installed through the skills CLI, by cloning the repository, or by linking it into a Claude Code or Codex skills directory.

video-use is an open-source video-editing tool for coding agents such as Claude Code, Codex, Hermes, and Openclaw. It takes raw footage in a folder and produces an edited MP4, with support for removing filler words and dead space, applying FFmpeg color-grading chains, adding short audio fades at cuts, burning customizable subtitles, and generating animation overlays through HyperFrames, Remotion, Manim, or PIL. Its pipeline transcribes each source with ElevenLabs Scribe, packing word-level timestamps, speaker diarization, and audio events into a Markdown view. The agent reasons over that transcript and requests filmstrip, waveform, and word-label composites from timeline_view only at decision points, rather than processing every video frame as visual context. It then creates an edit decision list, renders the result, evaluates the rendered video at every cut boundary for visual jumps, audio pops, and subtitle problems, and can revise and re-render up to three times. The tool uses an approval-oriented workflow in which the agent inventories sources, proposes an editing strategy, waits for confirmation, executes the edit, evaluates it, and persists session memory in project.md. It requires FFmpeg and an ElevenLabs API key; yt-dlp is optional for downloading online sources. Outputs are placed in an edit directory next to the source footage.

Bang Motion is an agent skill for building browser-based motion graphics such as product openers, promos, bumpers, channel intros, kinetic typography, lower thirds, and explainers. It produces a single index.html that plays in a browser and encodes anti-slide rules: scenes change through camera or world movement rather than section fades, subjects or shared worlds persist, motion occurs continuously, and text and numbers remain part of the scene. Its deterministic timeline makes each frame a pure function of time for exact scrubbing and frame-by-frame export, while a shared camera rig supports flowing-world and camera-through-collage modes. The skill includes five explainer starters—cartoon collage, visual journalism, white catalog, vintage sketch, and continuous action—along with configurable style briefs, background motion, surfaces, transitions, highlight shapes, voice-over re-timing, and optional Puppeteer and FFmpeg scripts for verification and MP4 export. It can be installed as a Claude Code plugin or copied into Claude Code, Codex CLI, Gemini CLI, Cursor, or another agent workflow; watching the output requires only a browser and internet connection. Whiteboard Animator is a CPU-only Python package and command-line tool that converts a finished whiteboard-style image into a hand-drawn reveal video. It can write detected text word by word, trace outlines, fill shapes with brush strokes, and decompose branched line art into sequential pen paths; narration audio can pace the drawing, and multiple scenes can be concatenated into one MP4. It is the render engine behind the Whiteboard format at Kinoslide. The engine identifies connected non-white pixel components and uses a bundled CRAFT text detector to distinguish text from drawn shapes. It orders components using relationships such as containers before contents, shapes before labels, reading order for text, and attachment of small dots to glyphs. It assigns reveal times based on component area or a region plan, then follows skeletons and outlines with reveal fronts, brush strokes, or sequential paths before streaming frames to FFmpeg. Rendering requires no GPU, API key, training, or model beyond the bundled text detector; an optional Gemini-based region-detection feature requires a Gemini extra and GOOGLE_API_KEY. The package provides the `whiteboard-animate` CLI and a Python API, requires Python 3.10 or later plus FFmpeg and ffprobe, and is distributed under the MIT license. It is intended for clean marker-style drawings on white backgrounds rather than photos, gradients, or textured backgrounds.

OpenEdit is an open-source, agent-driven video-editing pipeline from VEED. It has no graphical interface or timeline; an agent-agnostic skill and repository guide drive it through coding agents such as Claude Code, Codex, and Gemini. The pipeline can edit, cut, and reframe footage; create burned-in subtitles, motion graphics, charts, and visual elements; assemble slides, websites, stills, or generated media into video; capture web pages; and connect generation services or MCP servers when needed. Source footage is optional, and VEED Fabric can generate footage only with the user's approval. For captioning, the agent transcribes the video, designs the captions, renders the result, opens a video previewer, and accepts follow-up requests such as changing subtitle color, position, or emphasis. Transcription can use VEED, local offline WhisperX, or a user-supplied service; all providers must produce per-word timings, which are stored in a common transcript format. Caption styles are authored in HTML and CSS. The project includes VEED's closed-source but free-to-use HTML renderer, which does not require a headless browser; Chrome can be used as an alternative rendering backend. V1 primarily targets captions, while motion graphics, charts, and brand-book-matched styling are less exercised. OpenEdit supports Apple Silicon Macs and Windows x64 PCs. Intel Macs are unsupported, Linux support is planned, and Windows requires Git, Node, and ffmpeg. It can be installed from the repository or with `npx skills add veedstudio/open-edit`.
