asciinema

asciinema is a command-line terminal session recorder, live streamer, and player. It captures terminal output in lightweight asciicast files rather than conventional video files; recordings can be replayed in a terminal, embedded in web pages with the asciinema player, or published to an asciinema server such as asciinema.org. It can also stream sessions locally through a built-in HTTP server or remotely through a relay, record while streaming, capture optional keyboard input and session metadata, and convert, concatenate, or play recordings from local files, standard input, or HTTP(S) URLs. The tool runs on GNU/Linux, macOS, and FreeBSD and is implemented in Rust.
