Amazon AgentCore is a set of AWS building blocks for constructing AI agents with any model, whether used inside or outside Amazon Bedrock.

Amazon Web Services (AWS) is a cloud computing platform and subsidiary of Amazon that provides on-demand computing resources and services including compute, storage, databases, networking, analytics, machine learning, and developer tools. AWS offers these services to individuals, enterprises, and governments on a pay-as-you-go basis.

Amazon Nova Act is an AWS service for building and managing AI agents that automate production UI workflows in web browsers. Workflows combine natural-language act() calls with Python code: each act() runs an agentic loop in which the model observes a page and takes sequential actions, while sessions group browser or API-client interactions and workflows orchestrate the overall task. Nova Act supports browser data entry, extraction, checkout flows, and web QA testing, can escalate to a human supervisor, and connects to external tools through API calls, remote MCP, and agentic frameworks such as Strand Agents. Workflows can be explored in a web playground, developed with an IDE extension and Python SDK, deployed to AWS, and monitored in the AWS Management Console. Introduced as a research preview, Nova Act is now offered as a production service on AWS through the Amazon Nova API.

The AWS SDK for Python is Amazon's next-generation Python SDK for interacting with selected AWS services through native asynchronous APIs. It uses an async-first, modular architecture: service clients use Python's async/await syntax for non-blocking operations and concurrent I/O, supported clients can handle bidirectional event streams over HTTP/2, and each service is distributed as a separate package. Generated type annotations support editor completion and static analysis. The SDK is in Developer Preview, requires Python 3.12 or later, and is intended for evaluation, testing, and async prototypes rather than production workloads; the repository directs production users to Boto3, which has broader service coverage and general availability.

Gemini API managed agents are configurable agent harnesses from Google that let an application provision a Linux sandbox with a single API call. The agent can reason, execute code, manage files, and browse the web autonomously; developers can customize it with instructions, skills, data, and external tools, and package reusable agents through the Agents API. Each environment is isolated at the operating-system level and supports persistent state, although inactive environments are eventually deleted and virtual machines can spin down. Managed agents are in public preview and use pay-as-you-go pricing based on model tokens and tool usage.
