BenchPod

BenchPod is a Runpod benchmarking dashboard and template built on vLLM. It packages vLLM in a Docker image with a FastAPI layer, centralizes GPU statistics, cold-start measurements, inter-token latency, time to first token, and time per output token, and allows vLLM configurations to be changed and tested live without waiting for restarts. It provides OpenAI-compatible endpoints for agents and includes a watchdog intended to recover failed instances. The video describes it as not yet released and expected to be distributed as a Runpod template.

  • A benchmarking dashboard/template built on top of vLLM by Runpod, packaged as a Docker image with a FastAPI layer. It centralizes metrics (GPU stats, cold starts, inter-token latency, TTFT/TPOT), lets you change vLLM configs and run experiments live without waiting for restarts, serves OpenAI-compatible endpoints for agents, and includes a watchdog that self-heals failed instances. Not yet released; expected as a template by end of the month.
