BetterVoice is an experimental, open-source macOS menu-bar app for local voice dictation with visual screen context. It transcribes speech locally, captures screenshots of areas circled with the pointer, and inserts or copies the transcript and images into the selected application. It supports configurable microphones, languages, shortcuts, vocabulary corrections, and optional local English grammar cleanup.
