Overview

The boat CLI and HTTP API can create, inspect, connect to, prompt, stop, and resume sandboxes. A sandbox can be saved as a snapshot and rapidly forked into parallel machines, allowing prepared build environments to be cloned for multiple agents; the platform also provides Python and TypeScript SDKs and JSON output for shell integrations. Sandboxes are billed per second while running, with a seven-day trial and plans starting at $20 per month; the service currently offers EU regions and self-serve accounts supporting 100 to 2,000 active sandboxes.
