The GitHub Copilot SDK is a multi-platform SDK from GitHub for embedding the agent runtime behind Copilot CLI in applications and services. It provides SDKs for Node.js/TypeScript, Python, Go, .NET, Java, and Rust, allowing applications to invoke Copilot agent workflows while the runtime handles planning, tool invocation, file edits, and related orchestration. Applications can also define custom agents, skills, and tools. Each SDK communicates with Copilot CLI running as a server over JSON-RPC. The SDK manages the CLI process lifecycle automatically and can connect to an externally run CLI server. Its workflow includes inspecting changes line by line, assessing architectural correctness, and coordinating work with other pull requests. Multi-Agent Workbench is a local-first browser control room for orchestrating coding agents such as Claude Code, Codex CLI, and generic PTY-based command-line agents. Agents work in task rooms under editable YAML role cards that define permissions, speaking style, and decision boundaries; a rule-driven orchestrator pauses execution and risky commands for human approval, while persistent sessions expose terminal activity and status. The system uses a local event-driven architecture with a React interface, Fastify backend, REST API, server-sent events, agent adapters, an approval service, and a SQLite event store. Every action passes through the API and is recorded in an append-only event log, whose events are projected into timelines, decisions, terminal views, artifacts, and diff views. It also provides task templates, Markdown reports and decision logs, real-time room updates, and configurable risk resolutions. Code-writing agents are intended to use isolated Git worktrees, with diff and patch review before changes reach the main workspace; the repository marks this worktree and merge flow as in progress.

Autoprompt is a coding-agent skill and CLI that turns a development goal into a managed loop of scoping, implementation, testing, review, repair, and verification. It coordinates coding agents with configurable concurrency and model routing, and supports installation into several coding-agent environments, including Claude Code, Codex, OpenCode, Kilo Code, and VS Code. The repository reports an OpenCode comparison in which Autoprompt reduced failures from 29 of 89 tasks to 16, or 45% fewer failures, with an expected trade-off of roughly three times the execution time and twice the token use. It requires Node.js 20+, Python 3.11+ with PyYAML, and Bash 4.3+ on macOS or Linux.
