curl

curl is free, open-source command-line software and the libcurl library for transferring data with URLs. The command-line tool can be used in scripts to make requests and upload or download data over protocols including HTTP(S), FTP(S), SCP, SFTP, MQTT, SMTP(S), and WebSocket, with support for features such as redirects, cookies, proxies, authentication, TLS, compression, retries, timeouts, and parallel transfers. libcurl is also embedded as an Internet transfer engine in other software and devices.
