Deck as Controller

Deck as Controller is a Decky Loader plugin that turns a Steam Deck into a wireless Bluetooth gamepad for a Mac or iPad. It can present the Deck as a PS5 DualSense, PS5 Edge, or Xbox Elite Series 2 controller, translating input from the Deck's built-in controller and supporting trackpads, gyro on PS5 profiles, selected back buttons, rumble handling, battery reporting for PS5 profiles, automatic reconnection, and screen-off operation. The plugin runs a daemon using the Deck's system Python: it temporarily reconfigures BlueZ to free the HID channels and serve the selected Bluetooth HID profile, takes exclusive access to the built-in controller over USB, and translates its reports into the selected controller format. Turning the plugin off or rebooting restores the stock Bluetooth setup and Deck controls. It is an early beta build with reported latency and connection issues, and is released under the MIT License.
