desigma is a free, offline, open-source interface-design and whiteboard application written in Rust, with an egui desktop editor and a deterministic CPU renderer based on tiny-skia. It supports frames, vector editing, auto layout, components and variants, variables, prototyping flows, presentations, shared libraries, and whiteboard boards with stickies, shapes, and connectors. It imports Figma REST JSON and .fig files, including components, styles, overrides, images, and prototype interactions, and exports PNG, JPG, SVG, Figma REST JSON, CSS, and code for Tailwind, SwiftUI, Jetpack Compose, and React. The repository also includes an optional local MCP server for inspecting and editing design files and generating code. desigma is in early alpha, with stated gaps including collaboration, plugins, some .fig features, and code-signed releases. It is licensed under MIT or Apache-2.0.
