Dokploy

Dokku is an open-source, Docker-powered self-hosted platform as a service for building and managing application lifecycles on a user's own server. It provides a small Heroku-like deployment workflow: users push application code, which Dokku builds with buildpacks or a Dockerfile, then manages as a containerized application. The project supports deployment to fresh Ubuntu or Debian virtual machines, requires SSH access for application deployment, provides web documentation and an SSH-based command-line administration interface, and is distributed under the MIT License.

Dockge is a self-hosted web manager for Docker Compose stacks. It manages compose.yaml files without taking ownership of them: users can create, edit, start, stop, restart, delete, and update stacks, while continuing to use the files with normal Docker Compose commands. Its interface includes an interactive Compose editor, a web terminal, and real-time pull, startup, shutdown, and terminal output. Multiple-agent support allows stacks on different Docker hosts to be managed from one interface, and a converter turns docker run commands into compose.yaml files. Dockge runs with Docker 20 or newer or Podman on supported Linux distributions, and the repository documents Docker-based installation with a default port of 5001.

Dockhand is a Docker management web application by Finsys for managing containers, Compose stacks, and multiple local or remote Docker hosts. It provides real-time container status and resource monitoring, visual Compose editing, Git-based deployment with webhooks and auto-sync, interactive shell access, log streaming, file and volume browsing, image and network management, vulnerability scanning with Grype and Trivy, schedules for pruning and updates, notifications, and activity auditing. Environments can connect through a socket, agent, or direct TCP. The application uses direct Docker API calls, a SvelteKit frontend, a Bun-based backend, and SQLite or PostgreSQL through Drizzle ORM. It is licensed under the Business Source License 1.1, with the repository stating that it converts to Apache 2.0 on January 1, 2029; personal use, internal business use, non-profits, education, and evaluation are permitted, while offering it as a commercial hosted service is not.

Openship is an open-source, self-hostable application deployment platform with built-in CI/CD. It takes a repository, detects or supports its stack, builds and ships the application as containers, and handles routing and TLS termination. Deployments can be controlled through a desktop app, web dashboard, or CLI; GitHub webhooks support push-to-deploy workflows, and the platform supports repeatable rollbacks. The control plane can run locally in the desktop app, as a self-hosted server, or through Openship Cloud. In Compose mode it runs the platform stack on a Docker host and can host deployed applications there; in bare mode it runs as a lightweight process and deploys to a server over SSH or to the cloud.
