Domain SDK

Domain SDK is an open-source TypeScript library by OpenCore for managing customer-owned custom domains through a single server-side API. It adds hostnames to an existing hosting platform, returns the exact routing, ownership, and certificate DNS records required by customers, tracks provider-authoritative verification and certificate status, and supports safe removal.

Overview

The SDK normalizes domain lifecycle operations including adding, reading, listing, verifying, and removing domains. It provides idempotent operations, retry-aware errors, sequential polling with timeouts and cancellation, callbacks, provider backoff, and an isolated in-memory testing adapter. Adapters are provided for Vercel, Cloudflare for SaaS, Railway, Render, Netlify, and bunny.net; a subdomain client can scope tenant-chosen labels under a parent domain. It is server-side only and requires Node.js 20+ or Bun. The package is distributed under the MIT license.
