edgetunnel is a project for running V2Ray inside edge and serverless runtimes, including Cloudflare Workers and related edge-function environments.
Cloudflare Tunnel (formerly Argo Tunnel) is a secure tunneling service from Cloudflare that exposes local HTTP and TCP services to the Cloudflare edge by creating an outbound connection from a host to Cloudflare's network. It is implemented by the open-source cloudflared client/daemon, supports named tunnels and ingress rules, and integrates with Cloudflare Zero Trust / Access for authenticated routing and access control. The service is distributed by Cloudflare and the cloudflared client is published on Cloudflare's GitHub.
E2B is a cloud sandbox service for securely running AI-generated code, tools, and agents. It provides infrastructure for executing agent workloads in isolated environments.
Workers for Platforms is a Cloudflare offering that lets platform operators embed the Cloudflare Workers serverless runtime into their products, enabling customers to run user-provided server-side code at Cloudflare's edge. It is provided and maintained by Cloudflare and builds on the Cloudflare Workers ecosystem for distributed compute.
celld is an open-source daemon from Deno that runs Cloudflare Workers and Durable Objects on self-hosted machines. Each Durable Object is a named cell with its own SQLite database; cells store long-term state in an S3-compatible, Google Cloud Storage, or Azure Blob Storage bucket. A celld node embeds V8 and executes Wrangler bundles. Nodes sharing a bucket form a fleet, using conditional bucket writes for cell ownership and signed peer HTTP for routing and replicated-log transport, without a membership protocol, failure detector, or consensus service. Committed SQLite writes are captured as LTX data; nodes persist that data locally and upload it to the bucket, while takeovers recover open logs from the previous owner before restoring a cell. celld can run locally with `celld dev` and a local object store, or as a container for Linux x86-64 and ARM64. Its installer provides a verifiable binary release, and deployed Worker projects require esbuild on the PATH.
open-compute is a self-hosted Cloudflare Workers-compatible platform that packages the Worker runtime, control plane, scheduler, storage, queues, cron, workflows, and related bindings into one Rust binary for infrastructure controlled by its operator. It supports module Workers, familiar bindings, and Wrangler-based deployment, with SQLite for platform metadata and local filesystem storage by default; S3-compatible object storage is optional. The binary uses a pinned, checksum-verified workerd fork to execute isolated Workers, while its control plane handles ingress, APIs, scheduling, supervision, deployments, readiness, shutdown, and recovery. Deployments are immutable and content-addressed, and the platform includes KV, D1, R2, Durable Objects, Queues, Workflows, Cache, static assets, service bindings, and other documented compatibility surfaces. It is designed for a single node and does not provide Cloudflare's global edge, cross-region replication, or a high-availability cluster. open-compute is built in Rust and distributed as a release executable with embedded, verified runtime payloads. It is licensed under Apache-2.0; its packaged workerd fork remains subject to the applicable upstream Cloudflare workerd licensing.
