Ely Office is an open-source, offline-first suite of desktop applications built in Rust with GPUI. It keeps files in local folders without requiring an account or cloud service and includes ElyDoc for DOCX and ODT word processing, ElyTable for XLSX, ODS and CSV spreadsheets, ElyShow for PPTX and ODP presentations, ElyPDF for PDF reading, editing, OCR and signatures, ElyMail for IMAP, POP3 and SMTP email, ElyTree as a Git client, and ElyMark for Markdown. The applications use components including LibreOfficeKit, MuPDF, Tesseract, Git, SQLite, markdown-rs, RaTeX and mermaid-rs-renderer. Releases are available for Windows, macOS and Linux, and the repository is licensed under MIT; third-party components retain their own licenses.
