FinderSearch is a native macOS file browser with fast fuzzy filename search, built with SwiftUI and AppKit and powered by the fsearch engine. It searches locally with fuzzy matching, relevance ranking, folder scoping, and filters such as ext:pdf and mtime:<7d, then presents results through icon, list, column, or gallery views with Quick Look previews and tabs. File operations include drag selection, copying and moving, batch renaming, ZIP tools, tags, sharing, Trash, undo, transfer progress, and conflict handling.
It requires macOS 15 or later and is distributed as a DMG for Apple Silicon. Full Disk Access is needed to search protected folders; the app is currently not Developer ID-signed or notarized. FinderSearch is early software whose stated unsupported features include content search, AirDrop, Finder extensions, saved smart folders, folder merging, and persistent undo history. It is MIT-licensed, while its vendored fsearch backend is also MIT-licensed.

A fast file name search engine with a familiar Mac interface. Typing even with a typo finds matching files across the disk; you can browse in columns, icons, lists or gallery, preview with Quick Look, and handle files without opening another app. Uses F search under the hood.
