Flax NNX is a new simplified API for Flax, a neural network library for JAX. Released in 2024, it simplifies creating, inspecting, debugging, and analyzing neural networks by adding first-class support for Python reference semantics. It evolved from Flax Linen and is developed by Google Brain in collaboration with the JAX team.
Replicates the model, optimizes its state, and updates the distributed model during training.
