Tool Open source
flipflop is an open-source file- and text-sharing tool that establishes a trusted tunnel between two or more devices, allowing subsequent transfers without repeated pairing codes. It uses Iroh to connect devices over Bluetooth, a local network, or the internet, including automatic NAT traversal, and can share files, links, and plain text. Builds are provided for Linux, macOS, Windows, and Android; an iOS build is not available.

Pairs your devices once and keeps a persistent trusted tunnel open between them, unlike peer-to-peer file tools that demand one-time codes every transfer. It routes transfers over Bluetooth, local Wi-Fi, or straight across the internet with automatic NAT hole punching, so you can push files or clipboard text between Linux, macOS, Windows, and Android with no re-pairing.
