Google Cloud Platform (GCP)

Google Cloud is Google’s cloud computing platform, providing hosted infrastructure, managed services, security, data management, and hybrid and multicloud capabilities. It includes Vertex AI for building and integrating AI applications and can host development workflows such as Claude Code.

Google Distributed Cloud is Google's on-premises and distributed cloud platform for running compute, networking, storage, and related infrastructure at a customer's site. It supports deploying trained AI models, Gemini, and AI agents while keeping data within the customer's environment.

Tensor Processing Unit (TPU) is a family of application-specific integrated circuits (ASICs) developed by Google to accelerate machine learning workloads. TPUs are available as hardware and as a managed service on Google Cloud for training and inference of neural networks.

Cloud Run is Google Cloud's fully managed serverless platform for deploying and running containerized applications and services. It automatically scales instances with incoming traffic, can scale to zero when idle, and provides load balancing, TLS, logging, and identity management.

AutoGPT is an open-source platform for building, deploying, and running AI agents that carry out complete workflows. Users can describe an outcome in plain English, or use its visual builder to drag, connect, branch, and inspect workflow blocks. Agents can run on demand, on schedules, or from event triggers, and the marketplace provides ready-made agents that can be added and customized. The hosted platform is a paid, usage-based service that manages infrastructure, model access, credentials, and updates; the self-hosted path is free of license fees but requires users to provide infrastructure and model API keys and maintain the deployment.
