Helium is a privacy-focused, Chromium-based web browser developed as a heavily modified version of ungoogled-chromium. It provides unbiased ad blocking, removes tracking components, and is designed without added bloat or noise. The project publishes native packages for macOS, Linux, and Windows, with downloads available from its website and source, packaging, tooling, services, and components available on GitHub. Helium is currently in beta. Helium-specific code, patches, and other original content are licensed under GPL-3.0, while imported components retain their original licenses.
