Huashu Design is an open-source, HTML-native design skill for Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, and other markdown-skill-capable agents. It turns natural-language briefs into interactive web or iOS-style prototypes, HTML slide decks and editable PPTX files, motion graphics, infographics, and design critiques. The skill can first generate six style-direction thumbnails from three design logics, then develop three selected directions into full designs using an 84-style library with HTML/CSS specimens.
Its workflow includes a five-step Core Asset Protocol for requesting, locating, downloading, verifying, and recording brand assets in a brand specification. It uses state-driven navigation and Playwright checks for prototypes; a Stage-and-Sprite time-slice model with useTime, useSprite, interpolate, and Easing APIs for animation; and html2pptx.js to translate computed HTML styles into editable PowerPoint objects. Its design check measures factual issues such as broken images, small text, low contrast, console errors, and repeated visual patterns, while a local experience store and look ledger record taste notes and prior design characteristics.
The core design, rendering, and export pipeline runs locally without API keys or telemetry. Optional cloud scripts use explicit consent and the user's own vendor credentials. Huashu Design is distributed through the skills CLI or a Git clone and is licensed under the MIT License.
