FaceTime is Apple's proprietary audio and video calling service built into iOS, iPadOS and macOS that provides one-to-one and group internet voice and video calls. It is developed and maintained by Apple Inc.

Phone Harness is an open-source harness that lets AI agents such as Claude Code, Codex, or other LLMs control a real iPhone or Android phone without a jailbreak, injected app, Xcode, WebDriverAgent, or on-device installation. It exposes helpers for opening apps, reading screen content, tapping, scrolling, typing, and verifying actions. On iPhone, it uses the macOS iPhone Mirroring window as the transport: screenshots are captured from the window, Apple's Vision framework performs OCR and returns tap-ready coordinates, and HID-level CGEvents provide taps, long presses, drags, flicks, scrolling, Unicode typing, and shortcuts. On Android, it uses ADB over USB or Wi-Fi, combining screenshots with the phone's accessibility tree for text and element bounding boxes. Actions can be verified by capturing the screen again, with the screenshot serving as the ground truth rather than relying on a DOM. Each invocation is self-contained rather than relying on a daemon.

Apple Intelligence is Apple's branded set of generative AI features and on-device models introduced in 2024 to enhance Siri, system capabilities, and apps across iPhone, iPad, and Mac. The initiative covers local model execution, iCloud integration for personal context, and tools for developers to use Apple-provided and on-device intelligence.

vPhone Workstation is a native macOS SwiftUI application for managing virtual iPhones. It provides a library with live running or stopped state, iOS and cloudOS builds, search, and VM details including variant, CPU, memory, disk, network, device, and UDID. Users can start, stop, foreground, clone, rename, export, configure, and delete virtual machines. Its creation wizard selects a VM variant, firmware pairing, and CPU, memory, and disk resources, while streaming progress from vphone-cli and producing an exportable log. vPhone Workstation is a graphical front end for vphone-cli, which boots iOS research virtual machines through Apple's Virtualization.framework using PCC research VMs. It also checks host readiness, including the required macOS version, Apple Silicon hardware, vphone-cli availability, research-guest permissions, and AMFI configuration. The repository documents macOS 15 or newer as a requirement and provides Homebrew installation and source-build instructions.
