LM Studio

LM Studio is a local-model runtime and application for downloading and running local large language models. It is described in the videos as an optional local-model path for Control Center and as part of a gateway discussion. The LM Studio site says its runtime uses MLX and llama.cpp under the hood and supports local models for chat and agentic tasks.
