Mermaid is an open-source diagramming and charting tool that creates diagrams and visualizations from text and code. It includes the Mermaid Live Editor and integrations with other applications, and is developed by an open-source community around the Mermaid.js project and its associated platform.

Open Slide is a presentation framework built for AI coding agents. An agent describes a deck in natural language and writes React pages, while Open Slide provides a fixed 1920 × 1080 canvas, scaling, navigation, hot reload, presentation and presenter modes, and an in-browser inspector. Its agent skills support deck creation and slide authoring; the inspector records element comments as source markers that an agent can apply. The framework also manages images, video, fonts, and SVG logos, and exports decks as static HTML, PDF, or editable PPTX files. It is distributed as a pnpm/Turbo monorepo with an `@open-slide/cli` scaffolder and `@open-slide/core` runtime, and produces static builds deployable to standard static hosts. The repository is MIT-licensed.

Bento is an open-source PowerPoint alternative and office suite distributed as a single HTML file. Each deck contains its own viewer, presenter, editor, fonts, images, charts, animations, and readable JSON document data, so it can be opened, edited, presented, and shared in a modern browser without an account, installer, or network connection. The editor rewrites the deck's data block when saving, using the File System Access API with a download fallback. It supports morph presentations in which elements sharing an ID animate between slides, built-in bar, line, pie, and scatter charts, speaker view, comments, layouts, interactive states, motion paths, PDF export, and multiple interface languages. Optional collaboration uses end-to-end encryption with AES-GCM, a CRDT for merging offline edits including character-level text changes, and a relay that stores ciphertext rather than document contents; Offline mode blocks synchronization and collaboration.

MindSpark is an open-source, self-hostable mind-mapping application developed in vanilla JavaScript and distributed under the MIT license. It represents each map as a Markdown outline and keeps the canvas and Markdown editor synchronized in both directions, with imports and exports for formats including JSON, OPML, Markdown, PNG, PDF, Word, Mermaid, and GitMind. The editor provides automatic tree layout, drag-and-drop reordering, rich-text nodes, LaTeX rendering through MathML, an Excel-like node formula engine with functions such as SUM, AVERAGE, IF, ROUND, and SQRT, version history, read-only URL share links, and citations with DOI-based metadata retrieval from Crossref. Research, prompt-engineering, software, and AI-agent templates are included; map branches can also be compiled into prompts for Anthropic or OpenAI using a user-supplied API key. MindSpark can run locally with Node.js and SQLite, as a static site using a personal access token to save maps in a user's own Git repository, or with an optional Cloudflare Worker for OAuth, editable shared maps, access control, and real-time collaboration. Its repository also describes a separate MCP server for creating, reading, editing, and rendering maps through compatible AI clients.

markdown-graphs is a collection of React components for ASCII-style tables, charts, and diagrams in MDX. It provides more than 30 graph components, including tables, bar charts, sparklines, heat maps, Gantt charts, timelines, trees, and flow diagrams. Components render inside dashed frames using text glyphs and blocks rather than SVG, with optional single-, dual-, or three-accent palettes. The project distributes source files through a shadcn registry: users can add individual components or the full collection to an existing shadcn project, then import them locally. It is not an npm package and requires an existing shadcn project and Motion. The repository is licensed under MIT.
