mcp-for-blender-pro

mcp-for-blender-pro is a Blender add-on and MCP server that provides an AI assistant for inspecting scenes, creating and editing objects, assigning materials, searching and importing assets, running Blender API operations, and exporting scenes. It combines visual chat, scene tools, viewport snapshots, approvals, and a task board in a companion workspace, and can use OpenAI, Anthropic Claude, Google Gemini, OpenRouter, OpenCode, Ollama, or compatible custom endpoints. Single-assistant workflows handle direct requests, while team workflows assign sequential work to managers, workers, and reviewers; the built-in MCP server also supports authenticated Streamable HTTP connections from compatible clients. The add-on supports operation approval, cancellation after the current step, named undo steps, and Python tool validation, although the validation is not a security sandbox. The release bundle targets Windows x64 with Blender 4.2 or later and is released under the MIT license.
