Meko

Meko skills is an actively maintained GitHub repository of agent skills for Meko, YugabyteDB's agent-native data layer for multi-agent systems. Its Markdown skill guides teach agents to recall context, route operations using agent, conversation, and datapack identifiers, search memories and shared knowledge, preserve conversations, and distinguish personal memory from shared datapack knowledge. Yugabyte is a database company that develops YugabyteDB, a distributed, PostgreSQL-compatible database for cloud-native, agentic, and AI workloads. YugabyteDB provides automatic data distribution, resilience, scaling, vector search, and support for relational, vector, and graph data through a PostgreSQL-compatible interface. Yugabyte also develops Meko, an agent-native data infrastructure layer built on YugabyteDB. Meko captures conversations, memory, knowledge, and decision traces and shares them between agents and humans through MCP, REST, and a user interface; its design supports governed context promotion, traceability, and resuming work across agent sessions.

Claude-Mem is an open-source persistent-memory plugin and service for coding agents. It captures agent activity through lifecycle hooks, stores sessions, observations, and summaries in SQLite, and uses hybrid full-text and Chroma vector search to retrieve relevant context across sessions. Its MCP search workflow uses progressive disclosure: the agent first searches a compact index, then reviews a timeline, and finally fetches full observations for selected result IDs. A local worker service, managed by Bun, provides the HTTP API, search endpoints, and web viewer; the project also supports integrations with Claude Code and other listed agent environments, configurable context injection, private-content exclusion tags, and optional cloud synchronization. The repository states that it is distributed under the Apache License 2.0 and requires Node.js 20 or later, with Bun, uv, and SQLite used by the runtime. It can be installed through its npx installer or Claude Code's plugin marketplace.

Neo4j Agent Memory is a graph-native memory system for AI agents developed as a Neo4j Labs project. It stores conversations and messages as short-term memory, builds long-term knowledge graphs using the POLE+O model, and records entities, relationships, reasoning traces, tool usage, decisions, preferences, and facts for later retrieval. The system combines vector and text search, entity resolution and deduplication, similar-task retrieval, multi-stage entity and relationship extraction, background enrichment, and geospatial queries. Python and TypeScript clients support hosted NAMS usage or direct connections to Neo4j and Neo4j AuraDB through Bolt. An MCP server exposes capabilities for searching memory, retrieving context, storing messages, managing entities and preferences, inspecting graph data, and recording reasoning. Neo4j Labs describes it as actively maintained but not officially supported.
