deja-vu is a local memory and search layer for AI coding agents. Its Go binary indexes session histories already stored on a machine by Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, and other supported agents, including sessions recorded before installation, without using an LLM or embeddings. It provides natural-language and direct search, session inspection, context retrieval, JSON output, redaction, usage statistics, and MCP-based cross-agent recall; the index strips keys and tokens as it is built and can synchronize append-only memory between machines over SSH. Recall can be injected automatically at session start and before prompts, file edits, or commands, and a post-command hook can retrieve what followed a matching failure when the agent supports those hooks. It also indexes files opened during each turn, executed commands and exit statuses, and exact spans replaced by edits, rather than only conversation text. Decisions can be marked as accepted or rejected with notes, and results can report when indexed files have changed since a session. The repository reports sub-millisecond lookups over 5 GB of history, with benchmark harnesses for LongMemEval-S and LoCoMo. The project is distributed as a local binary with installation options including a shell script, Homebrew, Go, npm, Scoop, release archives, and agent-specific plugin or MCP bundles. Its optional installation wiring configures supported agents for MCP and session-start recall.

Codeman is a self-hosted web dashboard for running and monitoring AI coding agents. It launches Claude Code, OpenCode, Codex, Antigravity, Gemini, Pi, or Grok in persistent tmux sessions, with an optional plain shell, and streams their terminals to a browser. Sessions persist across restarts and network drops; idle detection can re-prompt agents, resume them after usage limits reset, and run scheduled jobs, while live floating windows show background agents and subagents. The dashboard is designed for touch devices and includes local echo, QR login, swipe navigation, and push notifications. It can run locally, in Docker, or over SSH, is MIT licensed, runs on the user's machine by default, and states that it has no telemetry.

Zoetrope is a terminal and browser visualization tool for Claude Code sessions. It reads Claude Code's local JSONL transcripts and renders the main agent, spawned subagents, workflow groups, and their tool calls as a live flow graph, updating as a session runs or replaying a completed session from its recorded timestamps. Its event-indexed timeline supports scrubbing, pausing, stepping between prompt eras, following the live edge, and seeking backward to view the graph at an earlier state; agent cards show status, current tools, tool counts, and output tokens, while tool calls resolve to success or failure. The browser version uses the same engine compiled to WebAssembly, and the README states that sessions remain local and read-only. It is distributed through Homebrew, Cargo, prebuilt binaries, source builds, and the browser interface; its command-line executable is `zoe`.

Multi-Agent Workbench is a local-first browser control room for orchestrating coding agents such as Claude Code, Codex CLI, and generic PTY-based command-line agents. Agents work in task rooms under editable YAML role cards that define permissions, speaking style, and decision boundaries; a rule-driven orchestrator pauses execution and risky commands for human approval, while persistent sessions expose terminal activity and status. The system uses a local event-driven architecture with a React interface, Fastify backend, REST API, server-sent events, agent adapters, an approval service, and a SQLite event store. Every action passes through the API and is recorded in an append-only event log, whose events are projected into timelines, decisions, terminal views, artifacts, and diff views. It also provides task templates, Markdown reports and decision logs, real-time room updates, and configurable risk resolutions. Code-writing agents are intended to use isolated Git worktrees, with diff and patch review before changes reach the main workspace; the repository marks this worktree and merge flow as in progress.

Bot Crossing is a local web application that visualizes coding-agent threads as an astronaut colony. It reads session records from installed agent harnesses on the user's machine, maps repositories to persistent hex zones, and represents sessions as astronauts whose behavior reflects states such as running, waiting, errored, merged, archived, or inactive. Selecting an astronaut or repository opens its associated thread through the owning harness, while the application can also start sessions, reveal folders, mark threads viewed, and archive them. The application uses per-harness adapters to scan local session files and merge them into a common thread model. It currently documents support for Claude Code, Codex, and Cursor, with adapters for other harnesses able to be added under `server/harnesses/`. Astronaut navigation uses a rasterized navigation grid, A* routing, string-pulling, collision handling, and crowd separation. The browser renders the colony with Three.js techniques including instanced GPU-skinned astronauts, shader-based construction progress, procedural terrain and surfaces, and configurable planets, lighting, and quality settings. Bot Crossing runs locally through a Vite development server or a built Node server, binds to loopback by default, and stores the colony layout in `data/colony.json`. It does not upload session data or use an account; it reads harness records and writes only the colony state plus the documented archive field. The repository requires Node 22.13 or newer, supports macOS, Linux, and Windows, and is licensed under MIT. Bundled Kay Lousberg assets are separately covered by CC0, while bundled Material Design Icons use Apache-2.0.
