Monolith

Monolith is a command-line tool and library for archiving complete web pages as a single HTML5 file. It retrieves a target document and embeds its CSS, images, JavaScript, and other assets as data URLs, allowing the saved page to render without a network connection.

Overview

It accepts URLs or HTML from standard input and provides options for excluding asset types, setting a base URL, controlling domain access, reading cookies, handling network errors, isolating documents, and producing MHTML instead of HTML. The project is written for cross-platform installation through Cargo, package managers, containers, and pre-built binaries.
