Mousiki is a keyboard-driven terminal music player (TUI) for browsing and playing local music files or searching and streaming online tracks through yt-dlp. It provides word-by-word synchronized lyric highlighting, an FFT spectrum visualizer, waveform rendering, spinning-disk artwork, and queue controls for shuffling, repeating, and track management. Colors, animations, visualizer behavior, hotkeys, and local music paths are configured through a file in the user's home configuration directory. It has native support for Linux, macOS, and Android through Termux; Windows support is unverified. Building requires CMake, a C++17 compiler, FFmpeg, yt-dlp, and the Python syncedlyrics package, and the project is licensed under Apache License 2.0.
