BridgeClip is an open-source AI desktop app from BridgeMind that turns local videos or podcast, YouTube, and Twitch VOD links into captioned short-form clips. It downloads the source when needed, transcribes speech, uses OpenRouter to identify promising moments and plan the clips, reframes them to 9:16 or 16:9, and renders the results locally with FFmpeg and word-by-word captions. It supports smart face and screen-share framing, multiple caption styles, clip libraries and job tracking, and optional publishing or scheduling through Zernio. The app runs on the user's computer without a BridgeMind backend; provider keys and transcription or planning data are sent to the selected OpenRouter services, while rendering is local. macOS and Windows releases are provided, Linux development is supported, and the project is MIT licensed.

OpenShorts is an open-source AI video platform for turning long-form videos such as podcasts, webinars, livestreams, and interviews into 9:16 short-form clips. Its Clip Generator transcribes videos with faster-whisper, detects scene boundaries with PySceneDetect, uses an LLM to identify potential moments, cuts them with FFmpeg, and applies face-tracked or multi-speaker vertical layouts, word-level subtitles, hook overlays, effects, and optional dubbing. The platform also includes AI Shorts for generating UGC-style marketing videos with AI actors, scripts, voiceovers, b-roll, and lip-sync, plus YouTube Studio tools for thumbnails, titles, descriptions, and direct publishing. Clips can be distributed to TikTok, Instagram Reels, and YouTube Shorts through Upload-Post, and the system provides an MCP server, REST API, webhooks, CLI, and agent skill for automation. The core application can be self-hosted with Docker under the MIT license; a hosted version is available at openshorts.app, while the cloud service infrastructure is source-available under a separate commercial license.

YouTube Shorts Ads is a paid advertising format from YouTube that promotes video content in the Shorts feed. It can be used to amplify high-performing organic short-form videos through paid distribution.

Clipnote is a notepad for saving and organizing content generated in AI conversations. It stores plain text, Markdown, and HTML clips, preserving HTML layout and interactivity, and lets users search, pin, archive, version, restore, and delete them. Clips can be private or shared through public URLs, and collections bundle multiple clips into one shareable page. Through MCP connections with Claude and ChatGPT, an assistant can save a new clip, retrieve a clip's content to inform a response, or update an existing clip. Updates automatically preserve the previous version. Clips can also be created or updated manually by pasting text or uploading a file.

AutoClip is an open-source AI video clipping tool that analyzes transcripts to identify highlights, generate titles, create clips and organize them into collections. It supports local videos, YouTube and Bilibili links, optional SRT subtitles, and transcription through local Whisper components when subtitles are unavailable. The processing pipeline imports video, obtains subtitles or a transcription, performs AI analysis and scoring, generates clips and collections, and exports them using presets for Douyin, Xiaohongshu, YouTube Shorts and Bilibili. Users can select Qwen, OpenAI-compatible APIs, Gemini, SiliconFlow, Ollama or LM Studio models; cloud analysis sends transcript text to the selected provider while video cutting runs locally. AutoClip is distributed as a macOS or Windows desktop application and can also run through a Docker web interface, a Python CLI or an MCP server. It is free software licensed under the MIT License.
