NumPy

NumPy is an open-source Python library for numerical computing, centered on multidimensional arrays and operations such as vectorization, indexing, and broadcasting. It provides mathematical functions, random number generation, linear algebra, and Fourier-transform routines, with a core implemented in optimized C code. NumPy is distributed under a liberal BSD license and serves as an array-computing foundation for scientific, data-science, machine-learning, distributed, GPU, and sparse-array libraries.
