OpenCode is an open-source AI coding agent developed by anomalyco. It is used as a terminal-based coding agent and external coding harness, with a beta desktop application also available. The CLI includes a full-access build agent for development work and a read-only plan agent for code analysis and exploration; the plan agent denies file edits by default and asks permission before running shell commands. OpenCode also provides a general subagent for complex searches and multistep tasks, and can be installed through its shell installer, package managers, or platform-specific desktop packages.

Project NOMAD is an offline-first knowledge and education server from Crosstalk Solutions. It provides a browser-based Command Center and API that orchestrate containerized resources and applications through Docker on Debian-based systems, allowing the installation, configuration, and updating of an offline knowledge environment. Its capabilities include offline Wikipedia and reference libraries through Kiwix, Khan Academy courses and progress tracking through Kolibri, downloadable regional maps through ProtoMaps, CyberChef data tools, FlatNotes markdown notes, a one-click application catalog, and support for custom Docker containers. Its optional AI Assistant uses Ollama or an OpenAI-compatible server such as LM Studio or llama.cpp, with document uploads and semantic search implemented through Qdrant-based retrieval-augmented generation. An internet connection is required for installation and optional later downloads; the installed system is designed to operate offline and the project states that it has no built-in telemetry. It can be installed through a terminal-based script or Docker Compose, is licensed under Apache License 2.0, and does not currently include authentication, so the project advises against exposing an instance directly to the internet.

Open Code Review is an open-source, AI-powered command-line code-review tool developed from Alibaba Group’s internal review assistant. It reads Git diffs and sends changed files to a configurable LLM through an agent with tool-use capabilities; the agent can read complete files, search the repository, and inspect other changed files for context before producing structured comments tied to source lines. Its hybrid architecture combines deterministic engineering with dynamic agent decisions: deterministic stages select and bundle files, match rules to file characteristics, and apply independent comment-positioning and reflection modules, while scenario-specific prompts and tools guide context retrieval and review. The `ocr scan` command audits complete files or directories without requiring a meaningful diff, and the project provides multilingual rules for issues including null-pointer exceptions, thread safety, cross-site scripting, and SQL injection. It supports configurable model endpoints, including OpenAI- and Anthropic-compatible endpoints, and requires Git 2.41 or newer.

Open Source Society University is a free, self-directed computer science curriculum assembled from online courses and, where necessary, supplementary books. It is organized around undergraduate computer science requirements into Intro CS, Core CS, Advanced CS, and a final project, with materials selected for open enrollment, recurring or self-paced availability, teaching quality, and alignment with the CS2013 curriculum guidelines. Learners may follow it independently or in groups, in or out of order, and most course material is free, although some providers may charge for graded assignments, tests, or projects.
