Overview

The app provides task boards, parallel agent teams, project worktrees, diffs and approvals, bot access through Telegram, Slack, Discord, WhatsApp, or a local web chat, cloud and local sandbox runs, deployment tasks, GitHub issue and pull-request workflows, and simulator integrations. It communicates with providers through their coding CLIs or documented protocols, including ACP, Pi RPC, and Muse's MSP, while storing projects, conversations, and settings locally in SQLite.

PandaCode is built with Tauri 2, Rust, SQLite, and plain TypeScript, using the operating system's webview rather than bundled Chromium or an embedded editor engine. The repository states that it has no account requirement, telemetry, or analytics; provider prompts and credentials are sent only to services selected by the user. It distributes builds for macOS, Windows, and Linux and is licensed under the PandaCode License, an MIT license with an attribution requirement for public or commercial forks.
