AstrBot is an open-source all-in-one AI agent chatbot platform and development framework that connects instant-messaging platforms with LLM services, plugins, multimodal features, MCP, skills, knowledge bases, persona settings, and automatic context compression. It supports platforms including QQ, Telegram, WeCom, Feishu, DingTalk, Slack, Discord, LINE, and others, and can connect to services such as OpenAI-compatible APIs, Anthropic, Gemini, Ollama, LM Studio, Dify, Coze, and Alibaba Cloud Bailian. Its plugin system offers one-click installation of more than 1,000 plugins, while its agent sandbox isolates code and shell execution and supports session-level resource reuse. AstrBot provides a WebUI and web ChatUI with agent sandbox and web-search support, and can be deployed with uv, Docker or Docker Compose, desktop applications, or other documented deployment methods.

Persona is an open-source, cross-platform desktop character that gives voice conversations an animated visual identity. It listens locally to a selected application's playback process rather than the microphone, using PipeWire playback-stream capture on Linux, WASAPI process-loopback capture on Windows, and a Core Audio process tap on macOS. Imported VRM character models switch between idle and speaking animations, with support for custom VRMA actions, model libraries, click-through desktop-pet behavior, and a local MCP server. Persona does not save audio, produce speech, transcribe content, or send audio over the network. It is distributed as an AppImage or DEB on Linux, an NSIS installer on Windows, and DMG or ZIP packages on macOS.

camelAI is an AI coding assistant platform built on Cloudflare Workers and Durable Objects. Each chat thread runs a coding agent in its own persistent workspace, retaining chat state and project files while providing workspace-aware tools. The platform connects to APIs, databases, email, Slack, Discord, and other services; supports application builds, notebook analysis, and SQL execution in isolated short-lived sandboxes; and provides previews and publishing through Workers for Platforms. Its agent harness is built on pi's lower-level agent-loop and state-management libraries. The agent uses native file tools and writes JavaScript rather than shell commands; Code Mode executes that JavaScript in fresh V8 isolates with explicit platform and connection methods. Project files are stored in WorkspaceFilesystem Durable Objects, using Durable Object SQLite for small files and R2 for larger ones, while Cloudflare Artifacts provides Git history. Linux sandbox containers are reserved for jobs requiring them, including builds, notebook analysis, and database queries, and credentials remain outside the execution sandbox. The platform can use Anthropic, OpenAI, OpenRouter, Bedrock, and custom model endpoints. Its repository is released under the MIT License and includes local development setup using Node.js, Bun, and a Cloudflare account.

LibreChat is an open-source, self-hosted AI chat platform that provides a ChatGPT-inspired interface for connecting to major AI providers and custom OpenAI-compatible endpoints. It supports model switching, multimodal file interactions, web search, speech-to-text and text-to-speech, image generation, conversation search, presets, branching, resumable streams, and a sandboxed Code Interpreter for languages including Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, Go, C/C++, Java, PHP, Rust, and Fortran. Its agent system supports no-code custom assistants, community-shared agents, MCP servers, tools, file search, code execution, reusable SKILL.md instruction bundles, subagents, and an Agent Management API. Agents can optionally use attached workspaces to inspect, search, edit, and run commands in bounded environments. The platform also provides generative UI artifacts, including React, HTML, and Mermaid content, plus custom actions and integrations with providers such as Anthropic, AWS Bedrock, OpenAI, Azure OpenAI, Google, Vertex AI, Ollama, Groq, Mistral, OpenRouter, and others. LibreChat includes multi-user authentication through OAuth2, LDAP, and email login; browser-based administration of users, groups, roles, and configuration; role-based permissions; observability through OpenTelemetry and Langfuse; Redis-backed synchronization for scaled deployments; and Docker Compose deployment options. It is built in public and intended for local or cloud self-hosting.

CowAgent is an open-source AI assistant and agent harness developed by LinkAI. It plans complex tasks step by step, runs tools and skills, controls computers and external services, maintains long-term memory and a personal knowledge base, and supports multi-agent teams with separate roles, models, skills, knowledge, and workspaces. Its architecture routes messages from web and messaging channels through an agent core that reasons over available models, tools, skills, memory, and knowledge before returning a response. Memory uses a three-tier structure of conversation context, daily memory, and long-term MEMORY.md, with a nightly Deep Dream process that distills memories; the knowledge base is an automatically curated Markdown wiki with cross-references and a browsable knowledge graph. Built-in tools include file and terminal operations, web fetching and search, scheduling, memory retrieval, vision, and browser automation, while MCP servers can be added through configuration. Skills can be installed from the Skill Hub, GitHub, ClawHub, or URLs, or authored through conversation. CowAgent supports multiple LLM providers and routes chat, vision, image generation, speech, and embedding workloads separately. It can run locally, in Docker, on a server, or through its macOS and Windows desktop client, with a web console for configuration and a command-line interface for service and skill management. The project is licensed under the MIT License and was formerly named chatgpt-on-wechat.
