Reason Network is a peer-to-peer coordination tool for teams of coding agents. A small daemon runs on each computer, discovers the team's agent sessions and reports their owner, repository, branch, status, and current work. Agents can use the MCP tools `list_team`, `send_message`, and `check_inbox` to contact a teammate's agent, while the command-line interface supports listing sessions, sending messages, notifications, and terminal replies.
Computers connect directly over local networks or the internet using iroh; when a direct connection is unavailable, an encrypted relay carries the traffic. Offline messages are queued until the recipient returns, and the daemon installs agent integrations and hooks for tools including Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, Gemini CLI, Copilot CLI, opencode, pi, and Reason. The repository distributes macOS, Linux, and Windows installers and is licensed under MIT OR Apache-2.0.

Lets your coding agent message a teammate's agent directly even across different tools. A small background service on each computer shows who's working in which repository and branch, then routes messages into the right session, supporting Claude Code, Codecs, and Cursor with encrypted connections and queued offline messages.
