RunCat Neo is a macOS menu-bar utility with a running cat animation whose stride speed reflects CPU load. It can watch local JSON files in a documented format and render their contents as dashboard cards, including metrics such as GPU temperature, Claude Code usage, GitHub contributions, and reminders. Users can also create custom keyframe-based runner animations distributed through the Runner Gallery.
The project is written in Swift and uses the LUCA architecture for SwiftUI development. The repository lists macOS 26.3 or later as compatible and provides installation through the App Store.
