Scroll Craft

Scroll Craft is a Claude Code skill for building scroll-driven websites. It treats scroll as the page timeline, supporting frame-by-frame video scrubbing, pinned sections, sideways rails, line-by-line headline assembly, shifting page grounds, and pointer-driven interactions. Each build selects one of eight mutually exclusive page grammars and must create a site-specific signature interaction; a fingerprint gate requires it to differ from previous builds across at least four of six dimensions, including grammar, navigation, hero, act shape, closing, and signature move. The skill also applies design rules for typography, spacing, color, depth, motion, feeling curves, and a single engineered peak, while refusing patterns such as identical feature-card grids, gradient text, invented statistics, fake dashboards, and AI-purple gradients.

A headless-browser verification pass visits every scroll position, waits for video playheads to settle, detects dead scroll, permanently faded cues, composited contrast problems, and video clips that failed to decode, then produces a contact sheet. The repository includes the skill procedure, design references, a JavaScript/CSS engine, templates, and scripts for setup, asset generation, video encoding, serving, shooting, and continuous-world assertions.

It requires Node 18 or later, a full FFmpeg build, and Playwright Core with Chrome; asset generation through KIE AI is optional. The README states that builds have only been performed on Windows, although the scripts search common Windows, macOS, and Linux locations for FFmpeg and Chrome. It is distributed under the MIT license.
