Desktop Commander MCP is an open-source Model Context Protocol server that lets AI assistants search, read, write, move, and edit files; run terminal commands and code; and manage interactive or long-running processes. It is built on the MCP Filesystem Server and adds search-and-replace editing, streamed command output, session management, process controls, configurable timeouts, and background execution. MCP-Memory is a Model Context Protocol server that gives AI coding agents persistent memory across chat turns and sessions. It stores memory records as human-readable Markdown documents following the Open Knowledge Format (OKF v0.2), with YAML frontmatter, hierarchical index files, and an update log, while maintaining a local SQLite FTS5 index for key lookups, keyword search, tag filtering, and namespace-scoped retrieval. Clipnote is a notepad for saving and organizing content generated in AI conversations. It stores plain text, Markdown, and HTML clips, preserving HTML layout and interactivity, and lets users search, pin, archive, version, restore, and delete them. Clips can be private or shared through public URLs, and collections bundle multiple clips into one shareable page. Through MCP connections with Claude and ChatGPT, an assistant can save a new clip, retrieve a clip's content to inform a response, or update an existing clip. Updates automatically preserve the previous version. Clips can also be created or updated manually by pasting text or uploading a file.

Context Mode is an MCP server and plugin for AI coding agents that reduces context-window usage by routing large tool outputs through sandboxed subprocesses. Its execution tools run code in supported languages, process files, fetch and analyze URLs, and return selected stdout or search results instead of exposing raw logs, snapshots, API responses, or file contents to the conversation. Context Mode supports multiple coding-agent platforms through MCP servers, native plugins, and platform-specific hooks, with automatic routing enforcement where hooks are available and instruction files for platforms without them.
