snapcn is an MIT-licensed shadcn registry of React and Remotion components for product-demo videos, developed as a Shadcn Labs project. Its catalog includes 21 components for AI chat streams, terminal sessions, device frames, text animation, captions, scenes, logos, social-proof counters, and visual effects.
Components are installed with the shadcn CLI, which copies their source and dependencies into a project rather than adding a runtime package. They use theme and mode props through SnapCnTheme to reuse shadcn-style design tokens, and the project also provides a browser editor that composes the components and exports MP4 video. An accompanying agent skill documents the catalog, props, durations, and motion rules so coding agents can select components and assemble timelines.
