Temporal TypeScript SDK

Temporal Ruby SDK is Temporal Technologies' official open-source Ruby framework for authoring and running durable workflows and activities. Workflows and activities are defined as Ruby classes; clients start workflow executions, and workers execute them while communicating with a self-hosted Temporal Server or Temporal Cloud. The SDK uses a Rust core and provides workflow testing with automatic and manual time skipping, along with activity invocation, child workflows, timers, cancellation, replay, telemetry, and workflow-safety checks. It is distributed as the `temporalio` Ruby gem and supports macOS and Linux on ARM and x64.

Temporal is a durable execution platform developed by Temporal Technologies for building scalable applications and workflows. Its server executes application logic as Workflows, automatically handling intermittent failures and retrying failed operations so applications do not need to implement all timeout, retry, and recovery logic themselves. Developers implement Workflows, Activities, and Workers with SDKs for multiple programming languages, then use the Temporal server, CLI, and Web UI to run and inspect them. The open-source Temporal server originated as a fork of Uber's Cadence and is distributed under the MIT License.

TypeScript is a programming language developed by Microsoft as a superset of JavaScript. It adds optional static types for application-scale JavaScript and compiles to readable, standards-based JavaScript for browsers, hosts, and operating systems. The compiler is distributed through npm, with stable and nightly builds, and the project provides a browser-based playground, documentation, roadmap, and community resources.

Native SDK is an open-source toolkit for building native desktop applications. It uses declarative markup in `.native` files for views, plain TypeScript compiled to native code at build time or Zig for application logic, and an engine that renders directly into real operating-system windows without a browser, WebView, or JavaScript runtime in the application binary. The CLI can scaffold, run, check, and build applications, with live view updates during development and an optimized release-binary build. Its component catalog includes controls such as buttons, tabs, text fields, dialogs, charts, and virtual lists, while styling is organized around replaceable design tokens. The toolkit also includes an embedded automation server for agents.

TSRX (TypeScript Render Extensions) is a TypeScript language extension for building declarative user interfaces in `.tsrx` files. It keeps TypeScript setup code, JSX-shaped markup, template-native `@if`, `@for`, `@switch`, and `@try` control flow, and component-scoped `<style>` blocks in one lexical scope, then parses the source into a framework-neutral AST for a selected target compiler. Supported targets include React, Preact, Solid, Vue, Ripple, and Octane; the project also provides compiler and runtime helpers, build integrations, language-server support, and integrations for TypeScript, Prettier, ESLint, VS Code, Zed, Neovim, IntelliJ, and Sublime Text. TSRX is in active beta development and is released under the MIT License. It was created by Dominic Gannaway.
