TokenSpeed

TokenSpeed is an open-source LLM inference engine from the LightSeek Foundation, designed for production agentic workloads. Its scheduler separates a C++ control plane from a Python execution plane: request lifecycles, KV-cache ownership, and overlap timing are represented as a finite-state machine, with compile-time type checks for safe KV-resource reuse. A modular kernel subsystem exposes a portable API, centralized registry and selection model, and plugin mechanism for heterogeneous accelerators, including an MLA implementation for Blackwell hardware. Its entrypoint provides an SMG-integrated AsyncLLM for low-overhead CPU-side request handling.

What TokenSpeed is used for

1 use taken from transcripts — each links to the moment in the video.

  • An open-source LLM inference engine built for agentic workloads, with a local SPMD modeling design that generates collective communication automatically and a scheduler that splits a C++ control plane from a Python execution plane. Serve your models with it.
