Zellij

A local Windows workbench for running multiple coding agents side by side in a single arranged window. It saves and tracks agent sessions, alerts users when an agent requires approval, and allows the same command-line interface to use different models.

Zeron is a local control layer for coding agents, including Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, Grok, Hermes, and Pi. Each device runs a small engine that stores agent sessions locally by default, without requiring an account or network connection. Optional synchronization lets users start an agent on one device and follow or control it from another; an always-on machine such as a VPS can keep agents running after a laptop is closed. The Linux installer starts a daemon that persists across reboots, while macOS users can install the desktop release or build from source. Zeron is licensed under the MIT License. The videos refer to the project as Comet.

Multi-Agent Workbench is a local-first browser control room for orchestrating coding agents such as Claude Code, Codex CLI, and generic PTY-based command-line agents. Agents work in task rooms under editable YAML role cards that define permissions, speaking style, and decision boundaries; a rule-driven orchestrator pauses execution and risky commands for human approval, while persistent sessions expose terminal activity and status. The system uses a local event-driven architecture with a React interface, Fastify backend, REST API, server-sent events, agent adapters, an approval service, and a SQLite event store. Every action passes through the API and is recorded in an append-only event log, whose events are projected into timelines, decisions, terminal views, artifacts, and diff views. It also provides task templates, Markdown reports and decision logs, real-time room updates, and configurable risk resolutions. Code-writing agents are intended to use isolated Git worktrees, with diff and patch review before changes reach the main workspace; the repository marks this worktree and merge flow as in progress.

Zoetrope is a terminal and browser visualization tool for Claude Code sessions. It reads Claude Code's local JSONL transcripts and renders the main agent, spawned subagents, workflow groups, and their tool calls as a live flow graph, updating as a session runs or replaying a completed session from its recorded timestamps. Its event-indexed timeline supports scrubbing, pausing, stepping between prompt eras, following the live edge, and seeking backward to view the graph at an earlier state; agent cards show status, current tools, tool counts, and output tokens, while tool calls resolve to success or failure. The browser version uses the same engine compiled to WebAssembly, and the README states that sessions remain local and read-only. It is distributed through Homebrew, Cargo, prebuilt binaries, source builds, and the browser interface; its command-line executable is `zoe`.

tmux is an open-source terminal multiplexer that creates, accesses, and controls multiple terminals from a single screen. A session can be detached while its terminals continue running in the background, then reattached later, allowing terminal-based processes such as coding agents to survive disconnection. It runs on OpenBSD, FreeBSD, NetBSD, Linux, macOS, and Solaris, and is built from source with dependencies including libevent and ncurses.
