Everyone's talking about AI agents and lately they've all been talking about Grockbot which is the tool built on Grock which is like Chad GBT and Claude that will go out and do stuff for you.

I want to build a Chrome extension and an app, a Mac app specifically for something that I need solved. I've never touched Crockpot in my life. Today we're going to see if we can do it. And I'm going to share my screen and show you exactly how to do it too because let's get real, none of us really know how to code.

Okay, so I just got out of massage and during the massage I of course didn't have my phone so I of course was able to think and I was thinking about Grockbot, believe it or not, and I was wondering what it could do. So, some of my best videos have been the ones where I'm out and about doing something. I get a business idea and then instead of just building it, I build it on screen. So, that's what this is going to be today. I'm downloading Rockbot for the first time ever.

01:26 Here's the business idea that I had. So, I want to build a product that does not exist. I want to build it for myself cuz I think this will help me be more productive. But, I think I could also sell it. I could sell access to it. I think other people would find it productive. So, you've maybe heard of the concept of time boxing, right? A lot of successful people time box.

01:43 They literally go to their calendar and say, you know, 7:00 a.m. to 8:00 a.m. meditation 8:00 a.m. to 9:00 a.m. emails 9:00 a.m. They schedule and plan out their their entire day so they're more productive. Not my thing, but it's hard for me to be accountable to a calendar event that no other human is a part of, right? Whereas, if I put money into something, I will be accountable to it.

02:06 I will do that thing. But that's not what this idea is. My idea is to lock me out of my inbox for the majority of the day. So I have to get caught up on my emails in a specific time frame. So it's like forced time boxing, right? As opposed to like, oh, I put it in my calendar, so now I'm going to do it. No, you won't. I won't. You won't. So originally, this was going to be an app that locked everything on my computer except for my mail app or gmail.com.

02:30 That way, while working during the workday, I was forced to get caught up on my emails during that time. I couldn't get distracted, browse Twitter, whatever. But I don't really like that. So instead, I'm going to do the opposite and I'm going to lock down gmail.com and my mail app for 90 plus% of the time, 95 plus% of the time. On some days, it will be completely locked, like on the weekend, so I don't work.

02:51 But during the week, it will be unlocked. It will be usable until like 10:00 a.m. That way, I will feel pressure to get caught up on all my emails cuz that's something that I struggle to do. That way, I have to finish my emails until 10:00, or else I won't get another shot until the next day. I think that pressure will force me to be more productive.

03:07 And I can use this app for other things, not just email, but for making sure that I just do what I need to do on the computer. Like, it will literally block certain websites or certain apps. He's never had Grockbot go into Replet for him, prompt it for him and then fix it, test the website, test the software, look at the code, test it back and forth cuz that's the hardest and most tedious part of vibe coding something is getting it to being perfect or close enough to perfect to sell the thing or to use the thing

I want to prompt Grockpot to go into my Replet account to build this for me. Not just build it, but build, test, fix, build, test, fix over and over until it's ready. The app needs to allow me to open windows of time where my Macmail app plusgmail.com is only accessible from 5:00 a.m.

Outside of those hours, I cannot visit either Gmail inside my arc/curl browser or even open my mail app. This is intended to force me to get to inbox zero every morning since this will be my only opportunity. I can unlock this lock with a password, but ideally only my wife knows this. I guess it needs to function like a Mac app or a Chrome extension or both.

05:08 But Crockbot needs to first build a workable version of this that I can use for myself and ultimately build a website and sell this app as a SAS on this website using my Stripe AI and anything else it needs. wrote a beautiful prompt that is Grogbot friendly using all the technical coding terms I know nothing about so I can just build this with as little intervention for me as possible.

Crockbot needs to keep testing the app for bugs and asking replet to fix it over and over. Okay. Push back from Claude. The blocker has to live on your Mac. Yes, Replet builds web apps. A website can never force quit your mail app.

05:43 So the real build is a Mac menu bar app plus a browser extension. Two things an AI agent physically cannot do for you. Create your Apple developer account and your Chrome web store dev account. Budget 20 minutes total for those. Test the habit first for $0. It is structured in phases with an autonomous build test fix. Okay. So, I don't know what any of this stuff means, but I'm going to try it.

RV rental websites, whatever. I can block all of these, none of these. So, I can lock in and then I can even send my password to a spouse, a loved one, whatever. So, they have to be the one to unlock it for me.

09:59 So, I didn't tell it how to look, what colors to use, what the user interface should look like. It just built this for me. Freaking incredible. And it works and I'm using it.
