00:00 This is the year into 2027 that crypto goes parabolic. And let me prove it to you. Give me 13 minutes and let me prove it to you. So, we're going to start with the three main events that just happened. Number one, the Fed raises rates by 25 basis points in first hike since July of 2023. >> The FOMC decided to raise the target range for the federal funds rate by a quarter of a percentage point.
00:27 >> The mainstream media will scare you with this. They'll say, "If the Fed's raising, that suppresses markets. Now is the time to sell." The saying is, "Don't fight the Fed." They're wrong. They're lying to you. Let me give you three examples. Number one, what happened to the Bitcoin price in July of 2023? And for perspective, because Altcoin Daily will always give you all the information.
00:49 That was the end of the rate hike. The rate hikes, I was actually one of the fastest in history, started in mid2022. What happened when the Fed started raising rates or the Fed ended raising rates in the last cycle? Number one, Bitcoin squeaked up regardless and Bitcoin just continued to explode over the next several months to a year. Why is this? What's the secret?
01:13 Well, the Fed is reactionary. The Fed doesn't raise rates because markets are weak. The Fed can only raise rates because markets are strong. they can take it and they're trying to suppress it. In fact, listen to Kevin Worsh just today explain why he's raising rates because of the strength. >> Even over the last several weeks, I think we now have data broadly defined that says the economy has indeed strengthened.
01:42 Um underlying growth is higher. Uh inflation is the problem. >> So this actually shows strength in the market. And again, let me give you another example. Altcoin Daily always likes to give you all the information so you can make the best decision for you as an investor. And number two, looking again at the United States Fed funds interest rate hikes, we can look back at the last rate hike rate hiking cycle from uh mid to actually end of 2016 into 2017 into 2018.
02:15 Were you around in the crypto market between 2016 and the beginning of 2018? Altcoin Daily was we started making videos near the end of that. In fact, yes, Altcoin Dy's first video. Many of you have been subscribed with us for years, almost nine years now. And what happened at the mid end of 2016 into 2017 into the beginning of 2018, the Federal Reserve was hiking and hiking and hiking and hiking and the crypto market exploded.
02:46 In fact, we had one of what are the very first as well as one of the strongest altcoin seasons ever at the beginning of 2018. Now, the mainstream media would tell you that happened that should have happened around here because the Fed cut. No, the Federal Reserve only cuts when the economy is weak, when they have to stimulate it. When the economy is strong, they suppress it because they're worried about inflation.
03:09 So, this is signal number one that the economy is going well. In fact, uh, the vote to hike rates was unanimous. 12 out of 12. It wasn't just Kevin Wars as well as the dots, meaning the other members of the committee signaled an expectation for one more rate hike in 2026. We know that the minute he can, the minute Kevin Worsh is able, he wants to cut, he wants to stimulate the economy into what he sees as a deflationary market because of AI.
03:40 AI innovation causes deflation. he just can't yet. >> I have to ask uh what is your message here to President Trump who has repeatedly called to cut interest rates, not raise them. >> Um I've got nothing for you on uh on a discussion with the president >> and things are going so well they're forced to raise into it. So that's fine. Number two, the Clarity Act just failed.
04:04 The biggest piece of crypto legislation is now seemingly dead. We gave you all the details in yesterday's video. Crypto died today. fully explained in less than 11 minutes. Well, breaking news. While we couldn't get the legislation, we are getting the regulation. CFTC chair Michael Celig says crypto rulemaking will move ahead despite Clarity's failure.
04:28 The CFTC is locked in and ready to ship. Here's the full clip. >> If Clarity continues to stall because of Democrat obstruction, the CFTC will utilize its existing authorities to begin establishing a regime for crypto asset markets. We owe it to the American people to do so. President Trump's promise to deliver a crypto asset market structure and we will help them deliver on that promise.
04:48 We will heed President Trump's call to codify a futurep proof digital asset market structure that cannot be undone by the crypto haters. >> I like it. I support it. We also have the leader of the CFTC talking about onchain finance. This is so bullish. The mainstream media won't share this with you, but this is so bullish. at least for the next two years.
05:08 Maybe a new president will change things, but for the next two years, it is a full green light. Now, >> I've also directed staff to engage with developers of onchain finance protocols to establish ways in which developers can offer their protocols in a legal and compliant manner in the United States, future proofing developer protections once and for all.
05:26 We're going to give Clarity its breathing room for a vote. But if the Democrats cannot support a bipartisan work product which reflects compromises from both sides of the aisle and ultimately send a fair version of the bill to the president's desk, then rest assured, I will direct CFTC staff to move swiftly to propose these rules for the industry. >> Like it, support it.
05:47 And to be clear, what CFTC chairman Mike Celica is saying that yes, the clarity bill has died. There is technically less than almost 10 days left to bring it back up for another vote. To the looks of v vote, it looks very unlikely. But as circle CEO Jeremy Lair reminds us on CNBC today, if you remember, Genius Act took a couple votes, had a couple failures before it went into law.
06:14 >> So, and if you remember, like the Genius Act, it failed closure vote too, right? And it was like, oh my god, what are we going to do? And then weeks later, it passed. And so, we don't really know what's going to happen here. We know there's like maybe one or two very important but small issues that people want to work on. So there's that. I think from our perspective though um you know we have settled federal law.
06:31 We have the Genius Act. The Genius Act goes into force in just a matter of months. And so digital dollars in the global economic system running on blockchain networks are here federally federally regulated and part of the global financial system. And so that is that tailwind exists for us. That's very fundamental. And then the second is that the the frameworks for digital asset markets and their use by banks and capital markets firms those are moving forward and you're seeing that through uh not just in the US all
07:00 around the world. So remember the US is one small market and and I think um you know Brian I think characterized that well last night and I I basically agree with his his views on that and all these firms are moving forward. >> So full green light, full steam ahead. I'm not saying that the Bitcoin and crypto market can't dip lower in the short term, right?
07:20 We could return to 72,000. That'd be a great buying opportunity. We could retest the 200E moving average, maybe dip for a few days, few weeks below it. Anything is possible in crypto. That's normal. But let's remember in this clip from my interview with billionaire Arthur Hayes a few weeks ago, hundreds of thousands of people have already watched this, the godfather of crypto trading.
07:41 In this two-minute clip, he reminds us, "Bitcoin didn't need the Clarity Act from 2009 until the present. It doesn't need it for the future. Let's watch then react." The Clarity Act for crypto, how significant is it? >> Insignificant. Doesn't matter. Who cares? >> You hate it. >> I don't hate I mean, I I if I was if I was a person building a US focused market crypto project and I needed to get money from US venture capital firms, I absolutely understand why you like the Clarity Act.
08:15 You want regulation that gives you some sort of moat so you can, you know, attempt to block your customers from doing things because you spent more money on lawyers than they did. I get it 100%. That's not the type of investing that I do in crypto. Like, I'd rather just buy a stock. So if that is your game, that's your game. I think the Clarity Act is a terrible thing for US crypto, for actual creativity, for actual builders building things that are useful that have product market fit.
08:41 Bitcoin didn't need the Clarity Act from 2009 until the present. It doesn't need it till the future. What does it need? Buffalo Bill Besson trying to save the US Treasury market by doing upping his buybacks overnight or you know trying to print money using the Fed to help the Japanese sell you know swap their treasuries for cash. That's what Bitcoin needs.
09:01 Doesn't need a Clarity Act to go up. And again, the Clarity Act has been talked about ad nauseium for the past what is it like two years. And what do we just generate one of the largest moves of recent history because again the market has recognized that the debt issue in the US is a real issue and yield curve control is coming. >> So again, make sure you see the forest through the trees.
09:21 Just cuz dips happen, just because setbacks happen, does not mean this industry is progressing so fast, so forward. And while we didn't get to altcoin news as much today, I encourage you to check out my video already 100,000 over 100,000 of you have watched this. The best four cryptos to go allin in September of 2026 if Clarity Act fails. I put this out 7 days ago.
09:45 It's still as true today as it was a week ago. But finally, where Bitcoin and crypto price-wise can go next. It should be noted that very se very silently not a lot of coverage. The House Ways and Means Committee just passed a crypto tax bill 38 to5. The bill removes tax reporting on small crypto payments under $10, a real step towards making crypto usable for everyday spending.
10:10 Now, two things. Number one, it just passed in a House committee. It still has to pass in the full house, then the full Senate, then the president has to sign. So this is, you know, at least six months, if not a year, two years away. But still, it got its next step. This is positive. And two, under $10. You don't have to report to your taxes. What What is that?
10:32 A gumball? Come on. Can we get under a hundred under? Yeah. Under 500 in terms of where Bitcoin and the crypto market can go from here if history repeats. Well, we know last time the Fed started their rate hiking cycle, they ended it in July of 2023. They started it at the end of 2022. Right around here, they started the rate hiding cycle. Bitcoin over the next year plus went up over 600%.
11:00 If we look at back when again the Fed had their prior rate hiking cycle, when was that? That was Oh, yeah. from 2016 to 2018. Um 2016, let's go from where they started it to 2018, Bitcoin went up over 2,600%. And it should be noted that they continued to hike rates and eventually they suppressed markets, but they hiked into strength like uh Fed Chair Kevin Worsh told us he's doing now.
11:29 Let's just say Bitcoin goes it was 2,600 then it went down to 600 maybe it just goes to 200%. If Bitcoin goes up the same as last time 600% wow we can't even get that far. Okay. If Bitcoin goes up just 200%. Like I was saying that takes us to 237,000 Bitcoin. If Bitcoin goes up 600%, maybe things get crazy in this AI revolution. Man, my chart doesn't even go that high.
12:04 We see 400% would take us to almost $400,000 Bitcoin, guys. Obviously, the end of this is moon math. I will keep you updated. The important thing is through the dips, through the nasty corrections, which I'm sure we will continue to get all the way up, this train is going in one direction. Combine this with tokenization. Combine this with Robin Hood chain bringing assets on Ethereum.
12:28 Combine this with RWAS on Solana. One Direction. There's never been a more important time just to learn. It's completely free. It costs you nothing.
