Cilium

Open source · cilium/cilium

Cilium is an open-source networking, observability, and security solution for Kubernetes, with an eBPF-based dataplane. As a Container Network Interface (CNI) plugin, it provides overlay or native-routed networking, distributed load balancing, cluster-to-cluster connectivity through Cluster Mesh, and identity-based network policies covering L3 through L7. Its eBPF programs can attach at Linux network I/O, application sockets, and tracepoints; this supports features including kube-proxy replacement, socket-level service load balancing, XDP-based north-south load balancing, DNS- and protocol-aware policy enforcement, and service-mesh functions using IPSec or WireGuard. Cilium also includes Hubble for flow visibility, service maps, and DNS- and protocol-aware observability, with integrations for monitoring systems such as Prometheus and Grafana. The user-space components are licensed under Apache License 2.0, while the BPF code templates are dual-licensed under GPL-2.0-only and the 2-Clause BSD License.

Cline

Open source · cline/cline

Cline is an open-source AI coding agent developed by Cline Bot Inc. It is available as a CLI assistant, VS Code extension, JetBrains plugin, native macOS and Windows desktop app, and SDK. Cline reads project structure, edits files across a codebase, runs terminal commands, observes build and test output, and can correct issues such as missing imports, type mismatches, syntax errors, and failed tests. Its Plan and Act modes separate codebase exploration and planning from execution; edits and commands can require human approval, with checkpoints for reviewing or reverting changes. The CLI supports interactive and headless operation for scripting and CI/CD, while the SDK exposes the shared agent engine for custom tools, plugins, lifecycle hooks, multi-agent teams, scheduled agents, connectors, and MCP servers. The project supports models from multiple providers and OpenAI-compatible endpoints, including local-model runtimes, and can connect agent sessions to messaging platforms such as Telegram, Slack, Discord, Google Chat, WhatsApp, and Linear. It is distributed under the Apache 2.0 license.

ECC

Open source · affaan-m/ECC

ECC is an MIT-licensed open-source agent-harness performance system maintained by affaan-m. It packages reusable skills, specialized agents, project rules, commands, hooks, memory, and security tooling for Claude Code as its primary target, with supported or limited adapters for Codex, Cursor, OpenCode, Gemini, Zed, GitHub Copilot, and other coding harnesses. Its core workflow turns plan, test, implement, review, verify, remember, and improve into reusable agent workflows. Skills are loaded for tasks such as test-driven development, research, security review, end-to-end testing, documentation, and refactoring; agents isolate planning, implementation, and review; rules provide always-loaded project or language standards; and hooks run event-triggered checks and session automation outside the model context. The optional Memory Vault stores inspectable Markdown handoffs and session context, while AgentShield scans agent files, hooks, MCP configurations, permissions, prompts, and secrets for security risks. ECC can be installed from its repository or through the ecc@ecc Claude Code plugin and ecc-universal package. The repository also provides selective installers, native or project-local integrations for several harnesses, a desktop dashboard, and the optional ecc-agentshield security-auditing package. Feature parity varies by harness: GitHub Copilot receives instructions and reusable prompts but not ECC hooks or agent delegation, while Codex has a native marketplace plugin with a narrower hook model.

firstmate

Open source · kunchenguid/firstmate

firstmate is an agent distro that turns a terminal coding agent into a supervisor for a crew of autonomous coding agents. It provides instructions, skills, tooling, policies, and state conventions rather than a separately installed application: cloning the repository and launching a supported harness creates the primary “first mate” session. The first mate dispatches requests to visible agent sessions running in tmux, Herdr, Zellij, cmux, or Orca backends. Each crewmate receives an isolated Git worktree and performs either a ship task, which produces an authorized change for a pull request or local merge, or a scout task, which produces a standalone investigation report. An event-driven watcher supervises the sessions without continuously consuming model tokens, reconciles state after restarts, and reports results or escalates decisions to the user. Optional persistent second mates can run from isolated firstmate homes locally or on SSH-reachable hosts, and optional Relay support handles eligible mentions on X and Discord through the same task lifecycle. The repository supports primary harnesses including Claude Code, Grok, Pi, Oh My Pi, Codex, OpenCode, and Cursor Agent CLI, and requires Git and an authenticated GitHub CLI for the documented workflow. It is distributed under the MIT license.

FreeLLMAPI

Open source · tashfeenahmed/freellmapi

FreeLLMAPI is an open-source proxy that aggregates free tiers from multiple LLM providers behind a single OpenAI-compatible `/v1` endpoint. It can also connect custom OpenAI-compatible chat, embedding, image, and audio endpoints, including local servers and remote gateways. Its router selects an available model, fails over when a provider is rate-limited, stores provider keys encrypted, and tracks per-key usage against free-tier limits. The router refreshes its model catalog from a signed feed; free installations receive periodic snapshots, while the hosted premium offering provides the live catalog. The project is intended for personal experimentation and is available as a self-hosted install with a hosted service at freellmapi.co.

Jevlike

Open source · vinnylarouge/jevlike

Jevlike is an open-source research starter for training small models that choose among a variable list of text options. Given a context and an option list, it represents each option as a query, attends to the context tokens to produce an option-specific context vector, applies a shared dot product, and runs a softmax across the options to return probabilities in one pass rather than generating an answer token by token. It provides a trainable byte-level encoder and an optional frozen Hugging Face encoder, with command-line tools for generating synthetic data, training, evaluation, and prediction from JSONL records. The repository also includes a visual option scorer used by Doom and chess controller examples. Training supports CPU, Apple MPS, and CUDA; the default encoder truncates contexts to 192 bytes and options to 32 bytes, and the project requires the complete option list at prediction time. Jevlike is an independent implementation rather than a copy of TypeSafe's commercial Jev model, and its code is released under the MIT License.

Plexo

Open source · anmolkapil/plexo

Plexo is an open-source download manager for Windows and macOS that combines multiple recognized network interfaces, such as Wi-Fi, Ethernet, and USB tethering, to download one file concurrently. It probes for HTTP range support, divides the file into fixed 8 MB byte ranges, and sends independent range requests through sockets bound to specific local interface addresses. A shared work-stealing queue lets faster interfaces process more chunks, while each chunk is written to a temporary part file and later streamed into the assembled destination file. Downloads support pause and recovery, validator-checked resume using ETag and Last-Modified, retries with backoff, stall detection, redirect handling, disk-space checks, and per-interface transfer telemetry. Plexo is built with Electron, React, TypeScript, and Node.js. The repository states that it currently has no pre-built releases, so it must be run or packaged from source; local builds for macOS and Windows are unsigned. It is licensed under the MIT License.

It solves the lockin of picking a fixed model and sandbox by letting users bring their own AI provider and choose where agent commands run in Docker, E2B, or directly on the host.

10:51 Web, desktop, and mobile clients share the same API, and the computer pane shows a live Linux desktop. The bot controls this suits developers wanting a self-hosted AI bot with flexible model and sandbox choices. Run it locally with Docker and PNPM to try your first bot. Project number 16, Jevlike. A one pass model that scores a changing list of text options.

11:14 Jevlike is an open- source starter model that takes a piece of text and a list of options, then returns a probability for each option in a single pass instead of writing an answer word by word. It solves the speed cost of decoder models on selection tasks. Since scoring options at once runs far faster than generating tokens, each option becomes a query vector attending over the context and a shared dotproduct plus softmax produces the probabilities.

11:40 It trains from a JSONL data set with a from scratch bite encoder or an optional frozen hugging face encoder and runs on CPU, Apple MPS or CUDA. This suits researchers and developers building fast classifiers over dynamic option lists. Run the quick start commands to train and score your first menu. Project number 17, Lint, an agent first llinter that enforces your design systems rules.

12:07 At shad cn/lint is a tailwind focused eslint and oxlint plugin that stops coding agents from restyling components in ways your design system doesn't allow. It solves the gap left by types which reject bad code without explaining how to fix it by pairing each violation with guidance pulled from your own components variance and theme. Developers define contracts per component deciding what classes are allowed and agents run the lint command to catch and fix mistakes themselves.

12:35 It works with any Tailwind v4 project shad cn/ui included but not required. This suits teams whose coding agents write UI code against a shared design system. Set it up with the quick start prompt and let your agent run the llinter. Project number 18, Plexo, a download manager that splits files across every network at once. Plexo is a Mac OS Electron app that speeds up downloads by pulling chunks of the same file simultaneously across multiple network interfaces, such as Wi-Fi, Ethernet, and a USB tethered phone.

13:10 It solves the waste of idle secondary networks by splitting files into 8 MAB chunks and binding each connection to a specific interface via HTTP range requests with a work stealing queue that lets faster networks pull more chunks. Downloads resume safely after checking server validators and a progress grid shows which network fetched each chunk. This suits Mac users with multiple active connections who want faster downloads.

13:34 Clone the repo and run it locally to try it. Project number 19, Pizza OSS, an inbox that sorts finished and waiting AI agent work. Pizza is a local first inbox for longrunning AI agents. Built on a stateful deep agents and langraph runtime, it solves the problem of tracking scattered agent runs by sorting completed work into unread and decisions needing you into action while agents keep working after you navigate away.

14:00 It runs as an Electron desktop app, browser app or terminal CLI all talking to a local API server and supports Bedrock, Anthropic, Gemini, Open AI, Open Router and Alma as model providers. Skills extended as tool scope delegated workers and local folder access is granted explicitly rather than by default. This suits people managing multiple asynchronous AI tasks who want one inbox to track them.

14:28 Download the installer and configure a provider to start your first run. Project number 20, Bish background removal that never leaves your browser. Bishu is an open-source background remover that runs entirely in the browser using web GPU when available and falling back to web assembly. It solves the privacy and cost limits of hosted background removal tools by running a pin by refn locally with no server upload account or usage limit.

14:56 The browser downloads and caches the model once, then produces a transparent PNG straight from the source image. A reusable atbur/barge package lets developers drop the same private flow into their own web app, handling model loading, inference, and output without exposing onx internals. This suits developers and users wanting fast private image background removal. Open the web app and drop in an image to try it. Thanks for watching. See you in the next update.
