00:00 On a scale of 1 to 10, how involved were you on the creation of laptop? >> Hey everyone, Honor here. It has been a long couple days. >> I'm not moving away from it. I was involved a 10. >> This is mying token. >> A a absolute 10. And I still am to this very moment. >> Today we sit down with author, artist, and recovery advocate Hunter Biden. Also son of former US President Joe Biden.
00:24 >> I am 100% this. I'm riding this coin to as far as I can ride it >> as we confront Hunter on his meme coin. >> I'm not Eric Adams or Huck to a girl or Melania or any of these people that go like or even Donald Trump. >> I don't know much about it other than I launched it. I heard it was very successful. >> We sat in front of the Oval Office and said I don't know about that.
00:42 People run that for me. You made a lot of money, sir. >> And I'm going to make it right. >> We asked Hunter the tough questions. You were a 10 out of 10 involved in this. You can >> get a phone call with anybody. in which the market maker. >> Why bring on a bad market maker? Shouldn't you only have the best? By the way, we talk Bitcoin. >> I 100% believe that it's [music] going to hit a million and I don't think that it's going to take um you know decades.
01:05 I think it's going to take years. >> We talk about the 2028 next presidential election. >> If Donald Trump Jr. asks you to be on his 2028 presidential ticket to bring the country together, would you sign on? >> Watch today's entire video. It's like all of these people that talk about like, oh, well, you know, cryptocurrency is just a it's a haven for, you know, um, the black market and, you know, and people doing bad things.
01:28 And I'm like, what do you think the banking industry is? >> Tap the like button and click subscribe so you never miss conversations like this. And let's start. And I I wanted to ask um, how's your father doing from >> Thank you, man. you know, um I I don't I'm sure you've had family members that, you know, with cancer and like everybody has, but um it's it's not easy.
01:49 I mean, he's okay, but it's just like >> it's a [ __ ] It's a [ __ ] >> Sure. >> For sure. >> Um well, just to jump right in on crypto before we get into your memecoin, >> um how did you first find crypto? What's your origin story? And then how did that turn into I'm going to launch a memecoin? >> Yeah. So, my origin story with um cryptocurrency began um when I was at the uh World Food Program.
02:20 It's kind of a a a real roundabout way. When I I was chairman of the board of an organization called the US UN World Food Program, which is the World Food Program in and of itself is the largest humanitarian organization in the world. They serve about 75 million people in 80 different countries. I always get those mixed up. It's 80 countries in seven 75 countries, 80 million people.
02:43 And I think at this point it's more than that. And um and they go to every hot spot in the world that is either kind of a man-made disaster in terms of civil conflict or um a a act of God like a a typhoon or or hurricane or anything. And they're literally the first people on the ground. And so they take in these giant refugee populations into other uh countries and communities and often by virtue of the fact that we bring in so much free material and uh food and supplies, you uh wipe out the local economy which is
03:18 already uh in many of these places on tender hooks to begin with. And so we we started we we we started the origins of a program for microtransactions on uh that were uh able to be used digitally over over phones. And and someone suggested to me that I read um a book called the internet of money and um and I became a real believer. I got you know I didn't know the term for it until um you know about a year ago but I got orange pill and the belief in the idea of the democratization of uh financial instruments and I saw
03:56 that in my own experience in the work that I had done not only in um in a emergency relief efforts but also in places like you know the poorest communities of the world like Kabira in Kenya which is the you know the quote unquote the slum in the world. um was originally, you know, it's probably seven generations now of of refugees in in um in uh in which you could go in uh to a shack and be able to make a transaction on your phone uh far long be before um uh we ever were able to do that here in uh you know in retail
04:39 outlets in the United States to buy like you know the smallest of things like a toothbrush for 25 cents or the equivalent era. Anyway, the long story short is that I also then got into looking into the way in which uh money flows around the world and how the unbanked are completely um uh at the mercy of uh the banking monopolies and in uh fiat centered institutions and in which fiat currency centered institutions in which for instance here in the United States um legal or illegal or otherwise the amount amount of money
05:16 that is sent between here in Latin America and Mexico um uh is is a staggering amount of money and the only way to be able to do that for 95% of the of those people is through Western Union at a cost of about anywhere between a 10 and a 15% markup to uh people that are also unbanked and the transaction fee alone is just pure usery and and it's a usery that is um uh uh that that focuses on the people that least can afford it.
05:52 And so that was my um introduction to it. and and and the the reason that um uh I and having that kind of background and the idea and the belief that the blockchain I believe is kind of one of the most important pieces of technology particularly as we move into the age of AI and to um and and to uh and to having a real understanding of or having the ability to have a real understanding of of um of who's transacting with with who and in in the sense of having certainty in the in the block meeting and um sorry one second
06:31 the trash people just came. I'm in my garage if you >> that'll be coming around here pretty soon too. So I'll get >> Yeah. Yeah. I apologize. Um my studio which is a fancy way of saying my garage and uh anyway long story short >> so why' you launch the memecoin? >> Yeah. Okay. So yeah exactly. So I um I looked at what what Trump had done, okay? And I looked at what his family had done and the entire intention behind it was to build something that was the exact opposite of what they did, which was a pure extraction play
07:05 on their part. And if you notice in my coin, instead of having a the 80% of the of the of the equity of the coin being held by insiders, it's for me personally, it's 10%. And in my coin, 20% was at at the airdrop, uh, which we still have about 10% to do, was literally just given away, no strings attached to, um, people that would claim the coin and either cash it in or or hold it.
07:35 And then there is the first ever coin that had what I thought would could build community off of the u off of the um prediction market that was embedded within the coin that that 30% of the coin and if you the prediction comes true you burn the coin it enhances the value for the entire community and if it doesn't come true it goes to charity and I've chosen which I haven't named because I didn't want to put heat on any of them but I have dedicated uh four charities that are related to things that I deeply care about
08:06 which are addiction and recovery. 5% of the coin dedicated no matter what to charity which could go up to conceivably now anywhere between uh uh uh five and 35% but more likely a total of 15% of the coin to be dedicated to charity. and also that we are locked 100% and have no ability to quote unquote do a rugpull or extract anything from the coin until the six-month uh over uh and then over the next 18 months for full two-year vesting period of time.
08:41 And the point was to show that they don't get to [ __ ] ruin everything. And that's what they have done. They've taken the celebrity culture. I believe that, you know, if you if you look at it, Donald Trump's entire presidency for my uh entire political life is a meme. He is literally a meme. And and they've taken that and and and ambassadorized it in a way in which it was pure pure extraction.
09:10 They didn't attempt to even remotely build community. They didn't even attempt. Now, all you people, not you people, all the people in in this world that have a a much deeper experience than me, you know, crypto Twitter and the DGEN community, you know what? All the things that they say that they would hope for in the building of a coin is exactly what I did.
09:30 All of the things that they say, it's a joke. Number one, it is an absolute joke. My original video that I put out about this coin was literally started off with, "Fuck Donald Trump. [ __ ] um a Trumpcoin. [ __ ] Melaniacoin. I mean, I literally went through, you know, [ __ ] World Liberty Financial. [ __ ] the Abu Dhabi Investment Fund. [ __ ] you know, and and it it that's what it was and it continues to be.
09:57 And we totally totally totally [ __ ] up the launch as you guys know because you understand this and you're deeply embedded into it and you can see what happened on the chart and you can and we're putting out I I I promise you a full detailed report is that the coin went we we had a a $50 million um uh FTV um launch. Okay. And it went within in within I think the first 3 minutes or less, it went up to a market cap of $317 billion.
10:33 Every $6 investment into the coin, a p attempt at a purchase of the coin increased the um uh the market cap by 5%. And the reason is is that one of the market makers, we had three, one of the uh and they're all global market makers, and I'm not going to name names or say anything about who they are at at this juncture because I because I don't want to until I can't because I'm positive that I can is they instead of taking the of the 30 million coins at their disposal, instead of putting in uh you know a million or
11:06 instead of and $500,000 into the liquid liquidity pool or even $50,000 into the liquidity pool. They put 0.003% of the coin into the liquidity pool with a total of $5,000. $5,000 which meant that >> isn't that isn't that Isn't that what they usually do for meme coins? Like every >> No, not even remotely. Not even remotely. even in the sense of meme coins is that the standard of care as it relates to that they would have at least put at a minimum we can't find another example in history of at least 10% of the of of the
11:44 coins of of the of of the liquidity pool that they have available to them at least 10%. This was 0 less than 05%. It was a complete and utter I mean it it and by the way for a coin that no matter what you thought about as our as our market maker they simply didn't make a market. But no matter what you thought about you knew that it was going to be a target.
12:07 You knew that there were going to be snipers. You knew that there was a huge amount of attention that was going to be paid to it. And no matter what if a memecoin lives or dies based upon attention you knew that it was going to be a significant launch in that sense at all. So you you create a market in which can handle that and which can handle the the the snipers.
12:27 But if you put in that little liquidity, there is no chance for it. And as you know, the coin did not lose 98% of its value. And for 3 minutes, it went up to $317 billion and with within uh under an hour definitely, but even before that it lost 98% to 99.5% of its value. And so this was not the typical Christmas tree. This is not like Trump's coin going up to 75 billion and losing 95% of its value to to to date over the course of time, which is not un unnatural or uncommon.
13:01 This was an incredibly um uh uh misleading like data statistic. No one pulled out. And the most important thing about all of this guys is this. What you can see on chain is of the 300 million coins that are held by the um uh by the founders, not a single token has been uh has moved. Not a single movement on any of those wallets. >> Um it sounds like you're highly involved with, you know, the aspects of this launch.
13:38 You know, I don't even know if Trump, you know, I know Trump license is his name. I guess my question is on a scale of 1 to 10, how involved were you on the creation of laptop? >> I'm not moving away from it. I was involved a 10, a absolute 10. And I still am to this very moment. And the reason that I can't do this for an hour and I can only do it for half an hour is because I got to get on the phone with the lawyers and be able to discuss exactly what I can say because I'm dying to go out there and beat the [ __ ] out
14:04 of the people that actually [ __ ] this up. And so my whole thing is I am not I I'm not leaving. I was a part of this. I'm not uh you know I'm not Eric Adams or Hucka Girl or Melania or any of these people that go like or even Donald Trump who sat in front of the Oval Office and said I don't know about that. People run that for me. This is me. I take full responsibility and I'm going to make it right and I'm promise you I'm going to make it right.
14:31 We identified the wallets. There's a median um uh loss over I think like 6,000 wallets of about $34. And we're going to make it right. I'm not going to let this stand. I whether it comes out of my hide or it comes out of wherever it comes from, I'm going to make it right. And I'm going to stick in this and stay with it as long as I can keep this alive for the purpose of this is I do believe in this community.
14:54 Now, as much as the community may not believe in me, as much as they have a a a uh a real skepticism about anybody that kind of comes into the world and says, "Oh, I want to do this because, you know, there everybody else has been a rugpool or a max extractor." Well, the tokconomics of my coin are absolutely 100% uh verifiable onchain. You guys can go look at it.
15:20 And the idea that I'm gonna come and say, well, you know, this isn't about money. [ __ ] no. It's also about making money. That's the reason that we're all in this, right? We're all in this market. And everybody else says, "Oh, well, you're encouraging gambling and these people are a bunch of grifters and everybody's a scam artist and this." You know what?
15:38 I don't think that that's [ __ ] true. I believe that I get an opportunity. One of the reasons to be and do this is this is that I think this community is important. I think that they have a a a view of the future as it relates to how people will interact with each other which is primarily through two ways. It's online and it is in uh and through financial trans transactions.
16:02 And I believe that it is an really important community to talk to. And I believe one it's an important community to talk to in terms of the political um uh future of this country in terms of the things that I truly truly care about. And I also think, by the way, a lot of people in this community have um an affinity with a lot of my experiences. You know what I mean?
16:23 I just by virtue I I really do. I mean, look, man, you can ask me anything. I'm not running away from this. I'm not even remotely running away from this. >> I like that. And let me ask you, um, and I appreciate how forthcoming you're being. Um, you were one of the creators. Uh, who are the other, uh, creators behind this project, the other owners? >> Okay.
16:45 I'm I there's two others and I promise you I'll get back to you on on on who they are. Neither both of them are American citizens. Both of them are friends of mine and they're not and they have no other interest. But I don't want to put gigantic targets on their heads right now because they didn't ask for it. But I promise you I will. >> Trump released the name of Steve Whit for World Liberty Financial.
17:03 He released the entities that own you know his name. >> I'm with you. I promise you. I'm with you. Let me just get their permission 100% to be able to do that. Okay. >> Okay. And u my you know last question from me before I throw it over to Austin. You mentioned you know obviously you know if you're a painter you paint to paint but you can still sell your art.
17:22 Like this is a meme coin. You weren't necessarily doing it for the money but obviously you know you can make money at a certain point. What are all the different ways like you said you didn't sell yet. The vesting is still going on and you know you're straight forward to the community. What are all the different ways you can make money? Could it be fees?
17:37 What else? Okay. So on the decentralized exchanges obviously there's anywhere between I think a a 0.5% to 3% fee that that you take on trades on a as it relates to the foundation which equals 5% there's OTC selling to be able to continue to sustain the operations of the um of of the coin. None of that has come to us. None of that has come to any founder.
18:00 So it it pays for the operation of the of of the advisory firm that we had, the operation of the uh of of the lawyers, the legal fees that were still continuing to maintain of the of of the actual foundation of itself of the um uh of the basically the accounting and all of that. So there's part of that. None of it comes to us until everybody else gets paid as it relates to the operation of the thing.
18:26 That's it. That's the only thing I will be and and am 100% transparent. You can see all of it on on chain. So there's nobody in none no insider is trading through a separate wallet or or anonymous uh wallet. >> I know about trading. I believe you on the trading, but as far as the other ways to make money, you guys have not collected anything yet. >> That's it.
18:45 No. Exactly. Yeah. >> Do you [clears throat] do you see this memecoin being bigger than Doge? Do you see it flipping Trump in market cap? I would the hope was exactly to flip Trump and market cap and the way the way to continue to sustain the attention of on the coin was through the prediction market piece of it in which we're burning and like I think we'll there's another prediction as it relates that was it Zcash or um anyway that um or I forget what it is that uh is is about to uh to hit and those go out for a
19:16 two-year period of time meaning that there is like a there's going to be events that continue to happen that have everything to do from, you know, whether or not Democrats win the the House and the Senate to, you know, silly things like, you know, I'm an Eagles fan, so that that that the first burn that we had was the Eagles won their um their their uh their opener.
19:34 And so that's the way for me to sustain the attention and also to start a conversation in this community about ways to be able to build it. Do I see it flipping Dogecoin? That would be really nice, right? But but I don't necessarily see it flipping Dogecoin. Do I see it flipping Trumpcoin? Absolutely. I do. I believe that there is a possibility of that and I still think that that we can do that.
19:59 And if people are willing to at least listen to me, I mean, look, man, the launch was so [ __ ] up that it made what was threading a needle to begin with 10 times more difficult than it was before in terms of that messaging. There was a whole plan to go out that >> it isn't like why why why would a high-profile guy like yourself you can you were a 10 out of 10 involved in this you can get a phone call with anybody why bring on a bad market maker shouldn't you only have the best >> by the way when when um uh the market
20:34 maker is not bad was not was from my estimation was uh not didn't have a bad reputation didn't have a I mean it's one of the largest market makers if not you know the one of the largest market makers in the world with one of the longest histories in the in the business >> I think we read about the name in the paper correct >> I don't know if you did but it didn't come from me and the reason is is because obviously in every market making deal you have a confidentiality clause and I don't want to break that until I have
21:02 to >> Aaron do you have any more questions on laptop I have a few more big picture >> um was Caitlyn Jenner brave for launching her memecoin Jenner back in the day do you No, [laughter] no, man. Look, man. If Caitlyn Jenner wanted to launch a memecoin, but more power to her. More power to her if she did what I did, which I spent six months working on this at least eight hours a day, if not 12.
21:26 And literally in every single meeting with every single thing. Look, man. Originally, just so you understand, as you guys probably already know, we were the whole drive was to launch on a centralized exchange and to be one of the few meme coins that launch on a centralized exchange to be able to avoid exactly some of the problems that we faced. Okay.
21:49 And so, we believed that we had that with both uh Coinbase and Robin Hood. And and obviously I would not have announced 48 hours before the launch that I was launching a memecoin because I knew exactly what everybody else knew is that once you did that, you're basically taking incoming without any real ability to um uh to respond because you're in like almost a quiet period.
22:14 And when that incoming was totally completely incredibly coordinated, it it it backed off our Coinbase listing, which was the the kind of the key to all of it also with OKX in Korea. And so what ended up happening, they said, "We're going to wait and see." And so then we had to go on the decentralized exchange and we had a market maker that in my estimation in my opinion and based upon the facts that I have seen and an independent report from an investigative uh group that uh uh produced it and provided to us the full
22:51 accounting of it uh two days ago is that they simply were grossly negligent in the way that they launched the coin as it relates to the available liquidity in the um uh in the pool. >> Hunter, we have final five minutes with you, correct? >> Yeah, you we got 10. What is it? 10:30. No, take your time. I was late. So, go ahead, guys. >> Appreciate you.
23:12 Appreciate you. As a representative, one of many representatives of the Democratic party. Who would you favor in the 2028 election as a Democratic uh person, AOC or Newsome? And who's better for crypto? Okay, I am number one I am insulted that I as a represent of the Democratic party. I definitely do not represent the Democratic party and I find that their position on crypto is just purely soporic and and reactionary.
23:40 I think that they're against it because those guys are somehow for it. What they don't understand is that the horse is already out of the goddamn barn. This is a technology that is not going away. This is this, you know, I I don't know how long I since I read the internet of money and I've heard uh people say that Bitcoin's going to zero next week and you got this guy, what's his name from the OC going out and making documentaries about how it's all a scam.
24:06 What a bunch of [ __ ] man. What a total bunch of [ __ ] That documentary in and of itself, it is so factually wrong just on so many things that it's not like how does anybody take it seriously? But what happens is you have the mainstream media that comes along, whether it's the Wall Street Journal and the um uh that are basically mouthpieces and and bullhorns for um you know the banking industry um who by the way is all going into cryptocurrency on the side as they go and try to kill things like the Clarity Act until
24:35 they can get it at the cheap price and then and then turn around and try to institutionalize it in a way. So who's better? Well, yeah. ARC ARC or Newsome. ARC or Newsome. They seem like front runners to me. >> Okay. I am a um I I am uh uh I have a an actual personal relationship not by virtue of anything other than he was really really good to me um at a time when when when I I wasn't getting many phone calls from people from Gavin Newsome.
25:05 and he is a um just as a as a as a human being is he's someone that I that I I truly feel like I have a loyalty to. >> Do you think Newsome would be better for crypto over AOC? >> That question I can't answer because the truth of the matter is is I don't know um either one of them their their positions um in particular enough to make a um determination, but I I I personally like them both.
25:30 Look, man, anything's got to be better than what we have right now. But that that's a different discussion altogether. >> Bitcoin price outlook, Bitcoin to a million. Be realistic. I hear see that headline. Do you believe Bitcoin will continue to increase? >> I absolutely do. I I just 100% do. I just think on a fundamental level, yes, it it is going to continue to increase.
25:53 I I don't know when it hits a million, but I I I 100% believe that it's going to hit a million. And I don't think that it's going to take um you know, decades. I think it's going to take years. Um, to go back to laptop, like is there anything that laptop holders or the community can look forward to in the future? Now, you say that you're I heard you say you're going to gify to keep the prediction markets going, keep the attention on it.
26:17 >> Okay. I mean, that could be cool, but is there is there anything else? >> Yeah. I think that the the other thing is is that me out there continuing to talk and challenging the people within this community to take a look at it. Take a look at the tokconomics of it. take a look at the the transparency with which we continue to operate and see that there is a way for people to do this.
26:36 Look, man, if if a meme is all about attention, then it is it is absolutely ridiculous to think that within the community that people that get attention aren't going to be involved in this. And the question is who, you know, everything is a tool. You know what I mean? You you can you the hammer you can use to bash down a a you know, a house or you can use it to build one.
26:59 I feel the same way about this technology. I feel the same way not just about cryptocurrency, but in uh meme tokens in particular. And look, man, the other side of it is is that you talk to anybody outside of um uh of of what what I have now um thrown myself into and what you guys are inshed in for as many years and long as you have been and they're like, "What the [ __ ] are you talking about?
27:21 Like, I don't even understand it. I don't get it. What are you talking about? Isn't it all a griff?" Well, there's 10 million meme tokens out there, right? Maybe more. Right? It's the idea that this economy, this this uh this is just some kind of like flash in the pan cultural zeitgeist. What a bunch of [ __ ] Everything's going to operate on the blockchain.
27:39 Everything is. And the more freedom that you give people to use a um basically alt currency um and and u or um you know uh uh uh a these micro um uh currencies to be able to to operate within each other. I think builds connection rather than a division in a time in which we're trying to be able to figure out how to connect people. And so I 100% me being out there, me talking about it, but more than anything too is I think that the other side has created such a kind of a vile um uh alternative of how this should operate
28:18 that there's got to be a there's got to be someone on the other side talking about it. And I don't know, as you said, as a representative of the Democratic Party, I don't know if I'm a representative of the Democratic Party, but I don't hear anybody on the in the Democratic Party taking it on the way that I am, imshing themselves, getting involved, uh, 100% immersing themselves in trying to understand how this operates and and what it is.
28:42 And look, man, it was a [ __ ] whether it's a technical or gross negligence or whatever you want to call it in the first minute, the first seconds of the launch of this coin does not fundamentally change the not just the intent, the structure, and the tokconomics of it, which are all completely sound. >> Hunter, can I confide in you my biggest fear?
29:03 >> Sure. My biggest fear is that you know obviously somebody sees this interview and not understand memecoins and or I guess my biggest fear is a memecoins are a game of hot potato I think thus far from what we've seen and eventually if you lose uh if you lose uh position in the zeitgeist if you're not talking about it still in two years thus far every celebrity memecoin has trended to zero do you think you'll be talking about this in two 4 10 years >> I think I'll definitely be talking about in two four years.
29:34 I I I never predict anything usually past a month in my life. But I do know this and the reason I know this is this. Okay. What other possible way if I'm if if I'm being um uh if if you take me as being sincere, okay, and which I'm don't expect you to, but whoever is listening to this, take me as as as that I'm I'm I'm truly expressing not just the way that I feel, but that my intentions and my actions.
30:01 Okay. Is it what other possible way if my principal goal since I got sober and have received the grace from uh from millions of people for all the fuckups that I've had in my life is better than being of service and being able to raise and and generate millions of dollars for the people and and uh organizations that are uh that are helping people out there that that didn't have the privilege that I have.
30:28 What other way could I go out and uh potentially raise 1,5 $15 million for a um uh uh for a national recovery um uh center? What where where else could I possibly do that? And so in terms of the amount of one of the things when I did this in terms of the amount of time, so for instance, I have a foundation um that's called uh the Peak Path Health Foundation for afterare for people.
30:56 None of the money from the coin is in involved in anything that I'm I'm I'm associated with. But my point being is is that going out and raising money and and and doing that, you know, maybe I pick up a couple thousand dollars here and $10,000 here and things like that, okay? And I and I will continue to do that as it relates to that. What other way though could I go out and generate an a like serious serious amount of capital for the things that I care about um better than a memecoin and to be able to continue to go
31:29 out and talk about it. So, in a year when the when uh the beginning of the six months or when the vesting for the charity so it doesn't crash the the the coin, I'm going to be going out and I'm going to be handing out checks to these to these organizations and everybody can check out the organizations and they're fourstar charity na navigated. But I'm going to be like, you know, what's his name?
31:49 Um you know, uh uh what was it called? The clearing house, you know, uh you know, clearing house. >> Yeah, publishers clearing house with a with a big giant check. Not for me. I'll hide behind the check, but for the organization to show like, hey, this came from a memecoin. This came from a memecoin. All you people out there. So, it serves two purposes.
32:09 I get to do a really good thing for a really good organization, but it also serves the other pointers. This came from a memecoin. This came from an economy of people that that that most people think are just a bunch of grifters and and you know, um, and gambling addicts. That's not true. That's what this is. And it doesn't have to be a zero- sum game.
32:31 >> Gambling's a big part of it, though. So, I mean, gambling, >> by the way, that's the other thing. It's like all of these people that talk about like, oh, well, you know, cryptocurrency is just a it's a haven for, you know, um the black market and, you know, and people doing bad things. And I'm like, what do you think the banking industry is? Who do you think has been laundering, you know, uh, you know, uh, the Russian oligarch money for the past, you know, 40 years?
32:53 who who do you think is you know been funding terrorist organizations through um you know anonymous bank accounts in um you know anyway so that's a whole different discussion I don't want to get into but I I don't want to like completely get attacked by the by >> I know we're limited on time two final quick lightning round questions from me one is uh as far as the two founders you have yet to disclose is Andrew Callahan one of them true or false >> oh absolutely 100% not look the thing with Andrew is one I I love
33:22 Andrew. I truly truly do. I think he's one of the smartest, most um uh principled um uh journalists of his age. I I say to him all the time. He's the Hunter Esset Thompson of his generation. And I truly believe that. Andrew didn't have a anything to do with this. I called Andrew and I said, "Hey, Andrew, I'm using my Substack emailing list and I'm going to airdrop this uh token claim.
33:50 it. It's no strings attached to people and it's literally just to be able to get to give away money to the community that has supported me. And one of those communities was you guys. He said, "Uh, hey, man. I He was in Paris. He goes, "Whatever you need, dude. Just talk to so and so. I think that there's like I I don't know if I have an email list, but if we have an email list, you know, you're welcome to use it.
34:10 It it just don't use it for anything other than, you know, uh like what you're doing." And then when it came out, he was like, "Dude, I didn't know that it was like a and it got so much thing. I said, "Don't worry about it." I take I just took them off the list, but he didn't have anything to do about it. And he's literally I told him I am I'm appalled that he was ever put in the position of having to defend me and a memecoin and and and things that he doesn't as a as a principle like.
34:39 >> We get it. And then my final question before I throw it back to Austin to wrap things up is, you know, America is divided. Hunter, you said it yourself. America is divided politically. So my question is, if Donald Trump Jr. asks you to be on his 2028 presidential ticket to bring the country together, would you sign on? >> Okay. As long as he's the vice president because vice presidents really don't do anything.
35:01 So if he makes me president, I'm all for it. Yeah. >> You say yes. The ball is in your court, Don Jr. >> Okay, there you go. Um yeah, I think I think it's much more likely that I'll get that um I'll get that cage match before I get a a a request to join his ticket. Hunter, I I appreciate you taking the time, you know, being so forthright and at least showing up to these conversations after the, you know, what you deem as a, you know, bad a horrible launch for a memecoin.
35:27 Um, so thank you for coming on. Altcoin Daily in general speaks to to an audience of over 4.1 million subscribers, followers across all social platforms. So, the fact that you're showing up to me speaks a lot. What is your final message for those millions of crypto investors you're speaking to right now? My final message is I'm a believer in cryptocurrency.
35:48 I'm a believer in the blockchain. I'm a believer in the idea that you can build something with this technology rather than just taking with this technology. And that is exactly what I built and exactly what I intend to continue to do. I'm here for the long haul. I am 100% this I'm riding this coin as far as I can ride it because I truly believe in the in in in the promise of it.
36:12 I truly believe in the idea of it and I don't think that we're all a bunch of grifters and jokes and and you know uh purely gambling addicts. I think that it is serves real value and I truly truly believe in it and I'm not going away. So if you guys have any more questions, if I have any more information, I promise you just call and we'll do it again.
36:33 I can do I can do 15 minutes a day for un, you know, for the foreseeable future just to answer your questions. I promised it. >> Hunter, appreciate you. >> Yeah, love to have you back in the future. Thank you for coming on. >> I really appreciate you having me on, guys.
