00:00 So the question is not [clears throat] anymore about Trafy or DeFi. It's not either or. >> If you ask most people in crypto, they will admit that the outlook for crypto is bullish. However, they will also admit that a dip is likely going into end of year. Never ever do what most people in crypto are thinking. Not that a small dip isn't possible, but Bitcoin's next leg higher will actually happen sooner than most people think.
00:33 Guys, smash the like button if you appreciate me putting this kind of stuff on your radar because yes, a dip will still come. Bitcoin doesn't get back to $100,000 without volatility. However, if we continue to see the dominoes fall, like is revealed to us in this clip by Swift, the global payments network connecting all of the banks in all of the countries, they just announced they will be following the USC's lead and fully supporting crypto and tokenized asset transactions.
01:08 This is huge. It's a 15-second announcement. it should make you incredibly bullish. >> So the question is not anymore about Traty or DeFi. It's not either or. The Swift platform will allow you to move any form of regulated value whether it's fiat or tokenized at global scale over more than 200 countries and 40,000 corridors. That's what it's all about.
01:41 [music] Again, everybody would feel a whole lot better if we saw a dip. We understand that the future is bullish for crypto and tech and risk assets. We would all feel better if this happened. So, if everybody's waiting, it just might not happen. I still appreciate when people post and share their thoughts. I'm going to like this creator's content because I want to support him.
02:07 And when you actually take the time to understand what exactly is the US changing, how did they do things before? What's different going forward? Like when you listen to this, you know that the future is bullish for crypto. It is just a twominute explanation that Paul Atkins takes the time to give on CNBC. He literally says, "Crypto is near and dear to my heart.
02:35 We're trying to move things onchain, which I think is an exciting prospect. And so we're moving forward. I sent this video to a couple of my buddies. They bought more Bitcoin, Ethereum, and Salana once they understood how the US is opening their doors to it. Listen for yourself. >> Want to pivot to a different topic uh which is uh maybe the regulatory world, tokenization.
02:57 I know it's a topic that we've talked about before, >> near and dear to my heart. >> And it's near and dear to your heart. How do you see this tokenized world ultimately working? >> So again, if you look back at the previous administration, uh basically there was uh just a closed door policy of uh not accepting of these new innovative products. And so we've changed that to provide clarity to the marketplace to innovators and investors alike.
03:24 starting out with a definition in a joint interpretative release with the CFTC to define what's the tokenized security versus what are other sorts of uh tokenized assets. We're in the securities lane obviously and so we are focused we have come out with a proposed rule that even though the clarity act uh failed in Congress to be um uh enacted uh you know we are proceeding to provide clarity to the marketplace as far as how to raise uh money on chain and then secondly with respect to uh trading of tokenized securities
03:57 we've come out with an innovation exemption we're calling it so think of a sandbox with a controlled type of environment where companies issue tokenized securities that represent the um underlying uh rights and privileges of the security. So it's trading the actual security onchain and that's an important difference than what is being done offshore which is more synthetic type of uh product.
04:24 So we're trying to move things onchain which I think is an exciting uh prospect and so we're moving forward. If you're interested in making money in crypto and staying informed, subscribe to Altcoin Daily. We are the largest crypto YouTube channel in the US and top three around the world. We help you understand what crypto markets might look like in the future.
04:49 I thought this clip was incredibly enlightening because this 10-year Wall Street veteran and now founder of Etherealize takes the time to explain his thesis and the three big reasons why he believes we know that crypto's next 15 years is going to look very different from crypto's first 15 years. Well, part of that difference might be Ethereum flipping Bitcoin and becoming more valuable.
05:18 Well, that's his thought. That's what he's planning for. And again, he lists his reasons and explains why. It's about a one minute clip. You tell me if you agree on the ETH thesis here. >> Downstream of all that, I think ETH's going to be more valuable than Bitcoin. I think it's going to be very obvious that when ETH is more valuable than Bitcoin, we want to upgrade the world's registry of assets and money at the same time.
05:40 I think everything will be tokenized and I I think that that'll be the default. New assets will be issued in tokenized form and they'll all live on the blockchain. The second is it's not taken for granted now, but I think the whole blockchain ecosystem is going to be public blockchains with zero knowledge proof based privacy built on top of them. Zero knowledge proofs are the next frontier for technology has hardware requirements like AI, has cryptography, like AI and like blockchains.
06:06 It's it is the way to create expressive privacy on top of public systems. It extends past blockchains and no one's talking about ZK and I think in five years in the future ZK will just be an abstracted important technologies integrated absolutely everywhere. So downstream of all that I think ETH's going to be more valuable than Bitcoin. I think it's going to be very obvious that when ETH is more valuable than Bitcoin people say why was uh a inert asset ever valued less than productive money with a yield.
06:34 And so I expect your company to see benefits from all of that. >> $500,000 Bitcoin by 2030 is just math. Bitcoin can easily get to half a million dollars by sometime around 2030 as 300 billion fund founder Rick Edelman explains in this clip. We know that the world is adopting Bitcoin and crypto. If the world just allocates 2% to Bitcoin, that's a $1 million Bitcoin.
07:01 So, in his opinion, a 1% adoption rate around the world in four years is reasonable. >> And that's exactly my uh prediction as well. Uh Matt is 500,000 by 2030. Um might get there in a different way. Uh mine is more simplistic. If you just take a look at the total value of all the global assets in the world, the value of the stocks, bonds, real estate, gold, oil, etc.
07:25 If the world that owns all those assets just allocates 1% of their portfolio to Bitcoin, that's $500,000 of value. If the world owns 2%, then it's a million, etc. So, yeah, I I this has been the best performing asset class since inception, and I see no reason for it not to continue being the best performing asset class for the foreseeable future. So, I don't really care about the four-year cycle very much.
07:49 I'm looking at 2030 and 2035 more so than next quarter. Hey, if somebody isn't convinced we're in a bull market, show them this chart. I like this. Wall Street started the process to adopt crypto in 2024 when they green lit Bitcoin's ETF. And now that we're two years deep in this, they're plumbing their infrastructure, their solicited salesmen. They are leading the charge, telling their trillions, all of them in wealth clients, you need some Bitcoin, you need some Ethereum.
08:21 Bitwise's head of research proudly admitting in this clip that when they talk to sovereign wealth funds nation states they start dumping their gold and start purchasing a little bitcoin. Wall Street is a selling machine and that's becoming very apparent. This is how we know that Bitcoin and crypto are going to continue to grow via Wall Street, via institutions, via nation states.
08:44 I will say there's a lot of interest in Bitcoin across different regions of the world among sovereign wealth funds. >> In your report at the sovereign level, were there any conversations, you know, or or any findings? Now, we hear a lot about strategic Bitcoin reserves and El Salvador has been an example for many years and people are excited that, you know, the US might follow in line with with the executive orders that's been issued.
09:11 uh were you able to speak with any sovereign nations and is there genuine interest at that level? >> Yeah, so we spoke with several sovereign wealth funds when we were conducting this research and I will say there's a lot of interest in Bitcoin across different regions of the world among sovereign wealth funds. It's not just one like El Salvador being interested in Bitcoin.
09:36 You see all of these different regions of the world thinking about Bitcoin, talking about debasement, needing to hold hard assets. You see, you know, record inflows into gold. I think we're going to continue to see allocations to Bitcoin in these portfolios. You know, one interesting finding that we found from one of the sovereign wealth funds we spoke to was that they were actually selling their gold and selling their uh other FX reserves to fund Bitcoin purchases.
10:02 So, there really is this kind of dual-sided approach to getting exposure to hard assets through Bitcoin and gold. Now, the thing about sovereign wealth funds is they control massive amounts of capital. And they're pretty uh interesting in terms of their willingness to take a little bit of risk with their portfolio in a newer asset like Bitcoin relative to gold.
10:26 And even though it's just a small percentage of their portfolio, maybe 2% or 3%, the amount of money they control and the amount of capital they control is so massive that that can have a meaningful impact on the Bitcoin market. Wall Street is a selling machine. We are 2 years into this and we can see they are ramping up in a big way. They all want to be leaders in this.
10:50 This clip is funny to me. Rick Edelman admits that he is recommending a 10 to 40% crypto allocation because he wants the regulators, the institutions, Wall Street to start taking crypto seriously. >> I argued for a 1% allocation. Uh I've since changed that a 10 to 40% allocation. 10% for conservative, 25% moderate, 40% aggressive portfolio. And people are kind of shocked that someone like me would argue for a 40% Bitcoin allocation.
11:22 The reason is not merely because of the reasons Matt said, which he's right, but in addition is the longevity curve. The 6040 is broken that we need to have assets more in equities and for longer periods because we're living so much longer. And here's the the key point. If we continue to argue for a 1% Bitcoin allocation, a lot of advisers who have inertia, like you pointed out, laziness, we could call it even, uh, because they're successful with happy clients, they could argue, why should I bother introducing
11:56 something brand new to my client, which is, oh, by the way, controversial politically and has a checkered past from a scam perspective, everything from Mount Gaus to FTX. Why should I risk the client relationship? Why should I bother learning something new for a lousy 1% allocation? It's not worth my time. But if I come out saying you should have a minimum of 10 all the way up to 40, now it's harder to ignore the conversation.
12:22 And that's the methodology we need to be focusing on. That's how you're going to get the attention of the advisory community and by extension their clients. >> Hey, make sure you follow altcoin daily on X so you can get information by the second. We just hit 2.6 6 million onx. Crypto is growing. See you tomorrow, my friends. Be happy you're in crypto before its next leg
