AI Summary

Michael Saylor, speaking at Paraf Capital's investor day, lays out the complete case for remaining a Bitcoin buyer into Q4 2026. The headwinds are restrictive trade, foreign and monetary policy, plus the AI buildout pulling a trillion dollars of capital; the tailwinds are bank adoption of Bitcoin credit (every $10 billion of credit created equals one year of supply), tokenization of securities, AI disruption pushing investors toward scarce assets Bitcoin can't be produced by robots, and positive regulatory guidance from the Treasury, SEC and CFTC. Altcoin Daily adds short-term analysis: Bitcoin coils near the 50-week moving average around 81,000 — a bounce keeps the bull structure intact, a breakdown retests 75,000. Tom Lee calls current conditions a setup for a buy across tech and crypto, and October historically returns an average of 26% for Bitcoin, finishing higher 11 of the last 16 years (69% of the time).

Key Points

  • Saylor names three headwinds for Bitcoin: restrictive trade policy, restrictive foreign policy, and restrictive monetary policy — all three weighed on the asset over the past year
  • The AI buildout acts as roughly a trillion dollars of gravitational pull on capital, a headwind since Bitcoin is pure capital and suffers disproportionately in risk-off moves
  • Bank adoption is a key tailwind: every $10 billion of credit created on Bitcoin equals one year of supply, so $100 billion of credit on a trillion-dollar asset class is enormously bullish
  • The Bitcoin banking index moved from 9% to 34%, tracking accelerating bank adoption
  • Tokenization of securities is a positive driver as digital credit, equity and capital are cross-collateralized
  • AI automation will push the marginal value of robot- and bot-produced goods to zero, making scarce trophy assets — like Bitcoin, 'a scarce desirable piece of property in cyberspace' — the things investors should buy
  • Clarity's loss isn't bad for crypto: the bill was 630 pages of restrictions, while positive guidance from the Treasury on stablecoins, the SEC on tokenized securities and the CFTC on crypto derivatives matters far more
  • Bitcoin is in a coiled spring: a bounce off the 50-week moving average keeps the bull market, a breakdown means a retest of 75,000

00:00 We're moving back into a bull market. You won't believe what Michael Sailor just revealed at Paraf Capitals investor day this week. Why is Smart Money buying Bitcoin? Why is Smart Money more bullish than ever on digital assets? What I really like about this clip is that Sailor fully admits and reveals the headwinds crypto is up against. What would slow Bitcoin down?

00:26 >> The headwinds are restrictive trade policy. restrictive foreign policy, restrictive monetary policy. >> But then he also explains the tailwinds that the Bitcoin crypto industry has for it going forward. What will push Bitcoin's price up that most people are still missing? >> The real drivers, the fundamentals that are going to drive the price of Bitcoin forward.

00:48 So, in just 4 minutes and 30 seconds, this is the complete case for why in Q4 of 2026, you should still be a Bitcoin buyer today. We'll talk about what comes next in the short term right after this video clip. But to understand what happens to crypto over the next 12 months, this is your complete guide. Do not be the fool who ignores this. Can you really not afford to spare 4 minutes and 30 seconds?

01:18 I've shared this video clip with many of my friends. Guys, hit the like button, support the content, and pay attention. Don't be afraid to take notes. We're moving back into a bull market. You should uh normally track the 200E simple moving average. And you can see we bounced off it about 3 months ago. We're back to a slight premium, but if you look at the chart, the chart looks exactly like you would expect the chart to look if you had a 15-year time frame on this.

01:46 Um, the headwinds are restrictive trade policy, restrictive foreign policy, restrictive monetary policy. We've struggled with all three of those over the past year. And then the AI bubble or a trillion dollars of gravitational pull, a contention for capital, and the AI buildout. Those are the things that are that are uh serving as headwinds for the asset class.

02:11 Uh Bitcoin is pure capital. So anything that's bad for the capital markets, anything that's a risk off, that's not good for equity, it's it's double triple not good for Bitcoin. So it's not complicated when you declare trade war on Canada 20 times. And when you escalate another war and when the yield curves move up 100 basis points, all those things are challenges for the capital market.

02:36 So what are the tailwinds? Well, right now the the real drivers, the fundamentals that are going to drive the price of Bitcoin forward or bank adoption as the banks create credit on Bitcoin. Every$10 billion of credit is oneear supply. So you create a hundred billion dollars of credit on a trillion dollar asset class, it's enormously bullish. it drives the price forward.

02:58 Um the banks uh won't do it until they collateralize or until they they custody the bitcoin. So as banks custody bitcoin, those credit networks form and that's that's a very bullish uh fundamental over the next 12 months to 24 months. Uh the tokenization of securities is also a positive driver because a lot of times digital credit, digital equity, digital capital, they're all being tokenized and crossraded and crosscolateralized uh to each other.

03:27 Um generally uh the AI disruption is a positive because there's extreme risk in traditional businesses as all of the labor and the activity is demonetized and automated and then there are extremely high multiples and extreme risk and all the tech plays because you don't know who's going to win and who's not going to win and and you're buying in at extreme valuation.

03:50 One thing is clear, we're going to automate everything. the car is going to drive itself. The robot's going to do the work. Anything you can produce with a robot or or any thinking that a bot can do is going to see the marginal value go to zero. The prices are all going to collapse. That's going to be great for consumers. If you want to consume things produced by robots, it's going to be awful for the producers that are actually making their money by selling those goods and services at high prices.

04:20 If you're an investor, you want to buy something a robot can't make. What is that? three acres on the beach in Palm Beach. Uh the New England Patriots, a trophy asset. Uh a scarce a scarce desirable piece of property. Bitcoin is a scarce desirable piece of property in cyerspace. So the robots can't make more Bitcoin. Uh they can definitely make more of [snorts] anything tangible in the physical world.

04:44 When clarity stalled, we got three positive sets of guidance from the government. The Treasury put out very positive rules for stable coins. The SEC opened a path for tokenized securities in the US and the CFTC greenlighted crypto derivatives to be offered to US investors. All of those things are very good for digital assets. Clarity was 630 pages, 600 pages of restrictions.

05:08 You don't really want uh 600 pages of restrictions. You want a bill of rights which would fit on a single page. And so uh the loss of clarity isn't really a bad thing for the industry. the best thing for the industry is just positive rules coming out of the regulators and then you just go and build these products and sell them. Uh we do see an acceleration of bank adoption.

05:31 We track uh the Bitcoin banking index, a lot of positive announcements by all the banks you know and love. Uh we've seen the index move from 9% to 34%. But before we get to the long term, we have to get through the short term. Take a look at this market structure. We are coiling up right now. So, let's talk about what happens next. So, let's talk about this coiled spring that's happening in Bitcoin right now.

05:59 This is in fact Bitcoin's most important weekend in 2 months. Either we bounce off of the 50week moving average and remain bullish or if we fall lower, we retest 75,000. Again, this is a coiled spring ready for a big move. A lot of people are betting, especially due to macro conditions, that Bitcoin breaks down. I mean, you see what's going on with the S&P 500 and NASDAQ right now.

06:26 You see what's happening with the hot inflation print, global stock market meltdown, new attacks, quantum FUD, MSCI FUD, ETF outflows, and yet Bitcoin hasn't closed below its key support levels yet. This is the biggest sign that we are in a new bull market. But there is plenty of fear, uncertainty, doubt, and pessimism when it comes to crypto today.

06:50 I don't think most people are that pessimistic on AI right now, but certainly very pessimistic for crypto. Now, Tom Lee says that all markets are about to spring upwards. He says, "I think this is a setup for a buy." His outlook in 22 seconds, this is similar to how I think about it. I think the setup is for a buy on the memory, the semis, you know, the the the neoclouds, uh, you know, tech broadly, crypto.

07:19 I think that they've all pulled back to support levels at a time when people have become maybe very fearful of fundamentals, but as you know, if the fundamentals remain intact, then it's it's a coiled spring. Now, important to remember that October is usually historically one of Bitcoin and crypto's most bullish months. Over the last 16 years, Bitcoin finished October higher 11 times or 69% of the time.

07:45 The average October returns 26%. Now, last time we saw something like this happen, we had a huge breakout up. It's a big question right now. What happens next? Break up or break down? Even speaking about what happens in the short term, it's important to zoom out a little bit and keep this in mind. Bitcoin is retesting a major cup and handle breakout.

08:10 Bitcoin is holding around 81,000 right now at the previous resistance level. If this level holds as support, the bullish structure remains intact. I think 90K would be the obvious move, but still some people saying 100K would be tested. Ethereum and quality crypto. In the new age of tokenization, Ethereum, Salana, quality crypto assets, DeFi assets, assets tackling capital markets are thriving under the hood today.

08:41 This is fundamentally what I want to see if this asset or this asset class has a future. Of course, many people are still thinking we're in a bare market and having PTSD, remembering what happens at this point in a downtrend. we break lower. If we're in a new bull trend, this will turn into support and we break higher. What if five years of resistance in crypto now turns into major support from here on out?

09:09 This is the future we are betting on. Stay up to date with everything crypto. Subscribe to Altcoin Daily. See you tomorrow, my friends. It's going to be a great upcoming
