Atlas CMMS

Atlas CMMS is a self-hosted computerized maintenance management system for web and mobile platforms, developed with a Java Spring Boot backend, React/TypeScript web application, and React Native mobile applications. It lets maintenance teams create, assign, prioritize, automate, and track work orders; log labor; retain equipment, repair, and downtime history; and manage service requests, locations, teams, roles, permissions, and workflows. Its inventory functions track spare parts, maintenance costs, stock alerts, purchase orders, and approvals, while reporting provides compliance, cost, labor, reliability, and downtime analysis. The system can be deployed with Docker Compose and configured for email notifications, Google Maps, cloud or MinIO storage, SSO, LDAP, and custom backends for Android and iOS apps. It is dual-licensed under AGPLv3 and a commercial license; commercial licensing is required for white labeling, custom branding, and advanced features.

What Atlas CMMS is used for

2 uses taken from transcripts — each links to the moment in the video.

  • Self-hosted maintenance management system for work orders, technicians, spare parts, low-stock warnings and downtime reports

  • Gives the maintenance team somewhere to track a fix when a machine breaks: create a work order, assign a technician, log the time spent, and keep the repair history with the equipment. It also tracks spare parts, warns when stock is low, and shows downtime and maintenance costs in reports, working on the web and on phones.
