Bambu Bar

Bambu Bar is a native macOS menu-bar application for monitoring and controlling Bambu Lab 3D printers. It displays print progress, time remaining, stages, temperatures, filament and AMS spool status, errors, and printer information, with controls for pausing, resuming, stopping, changing print speed, and switching the chamber light. It supports multiple printers, desktop widgets, notifications, printer discovery, and access-code import from Bambu Studio or OrcaSlicer.

Overview

The app communicates directly with printers on the local network using their TLS-protected MQTT service and UDP discovery, without an account, cloud service, analytics, or third-party Swift packages. It stores printer data locally and keeps access codes in the macOS keychain; print controls require LAN Only mode with Developer Mode enabled on the printer. The project is built with Swift and SwiftUI, supports macOS 26 Tahoe or later on Apple silicon or Intel, and is released under the MIT License.
